Just 400 feet from Rosemary Beach, this gorgeous home is a wonderful setup by the shore. All three levels that offer plenty of space for guests to spread out and relax, especially on the private balconies. The fully equipped kitchen and private gas grill in the backyard are great places to gather and cook after a day at the beach. After dinner, take the bikes out for a spin and see the neighborhood. As part of their stay, guests will have access to a shared community pool just behind the home! Back at home, take advantage of the multicade arcade gaming system and the shuffleboard table for some friendly competition. The white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico are just a short walk from this home - just an easy walk three blocks away! Guests can spend time making sandcastles and watching for dolphins in the surf. Pier Park provides fun attractions and shopping in a bright setting just under 10 miles away. We would totally stay here again. Took off a star because it wasn't as clean as I would have expected. But overall a fantastic house for a girls weekend.

The location is good easy to get to the beach.

Outdoor shower did not work, stove inside endlessly clicked unless on high and the water had a terrible smell. We later figured out after washing a load of delicate that you should not wash your clothes! Everything white turned orange, I’m assuming that it must be the silver in the water. I have rented numerous times in this area and have never left with $100s of dollars of clothes ruined. It was very clear at check in that this is a rental property that needs attention. I hate that this was our experience and hopefully they fix these issues moving forward.

We had 3 families stay here for 4 nights over spring break and we can't wait to go back! We have multiple children, ages 7 months - 6 years old, and the location was perfect. The house is located on a quiet side street, so the kids could ride their bikes up and down the street and play out front, which they did most of the time we weren't at the beach. The beach access is a bit of a longer walk with kids, so we would load everyone and everything up in a car, drop off at the access, then the driver would take the car back and use one of the bikes (included in the rental) to get back to the beach and lock the bike on the bike rack. It was super easy and quick! The neighborhood is just outside Rosemary, close enough to walk to but not close enough to be among all the crowds! The neighborhood was quiet and fairly uncrowded, which was fantastic. The house was also precious. The 2 king rooms were a great size, big enough for a pack and play with ample room for bags, etc. The queen room was much tighter and shared the bathroom with the kids bunk room, which wasn't ideal for the couple that stayed in there, but we made it work! The living and kitchen space was a bit tight with 13 people, but we spent most of our time outside, so no complaints on that! Make sure you bring coffee filters, salt and pepper, and cooking basics, as we had an early morning run to grab those at the gas station. The pool was across the street and has a childproof gate, which was a huge plus!

The location is fantastic - a quiet side street with no road noise from 30a, a couple blocks to a beautiful and uncrowded beach, a short walk to all the restaurants and activities of Rosemary Beach. There is a communal pool just across the street shared by a half-dozen houses. Was always empty when we were there. Very large house with a great top floor for tweens/teens with a separate lounge/game room.
This property is very well priced for a home of this size, this close the beach, in this area. A few things to note. The interior is dated; thin bedding and lumpy pillows, worn kitchen appliances and furnishings. The common areas were great for our group of 4 but would be very cramped with a full house. Still 5 stars given that the house is priced accordingly.

We absolutely loved this house when we stayed there in June. It was a great set up for what we had (3 adults, 2 young adults, 2 kids). The kids LOVED the arcade game on the 3rd floor and the adults all loved the balconies. The kitchen and living area has plenty of seating. The location is great for walking to the beach and Rosemary Beach. We loved the Destin Ice house for meals. The golf cart they provide is amazing to have as well, and the bikes! The only issue we had which was very frustrating was the Wi-Fi, which was completely off for the first 5 days of our trip. I called Vacasa 10 times at least, and ended up having to call the actual Wi-Fi provider. They made me schedule an appointment for them to come out, so he had to revolve our day around that (we had some people working while staying there), and it turned out that the issue was that the owners made a late payment and they cut it off and never turned it back on. All it would have taken was a phone call from the owner to settle it. We never received any help from Vacasa or the owner. So though that was frustrating, the house is beautiful and the location is wonderful, and we would go back in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay here. It was a very spacious house with lots of sleeping spaces. Great location and short walk to the beach.
There are a few areas of improvement though:
1. The listing said beach towels were included. They were not. Listing also did not mention the closet full of beach toys/tent/chairs/etc., so we brought unnecessary things.
2. In the main floor bedroom, there is no drawer storage whatsoever. You cannot unpack your suitcase into drawers. I had to leave all my small stuff in my suitcase in the closet.
3. In the main floor bathroom, it would have been nice to have hooks to hang towels on. Literally no hooks anywhere. There was a towel bar next to the shower, but when you have multiple people showering and beach towels and wet bathing suits, there needs to be more hooks.
4. You will have to bring ALL your spices that you need. There isn’t even basic salt and pepper. They also only left one extra garbage bag for the kitchen and one roll of paper towels. For this size house and this many people, there should be several extra garbage bags.
We had a couple of things happen during our stay, to which we contacted property management about. One of the bikes that come with the house was stolen. The damage waiver in your rental agreement covered that thank goodness.
We also had an almost empty propane tank for the grill when we got there, but it took a day for them to replace.
We would rent this house again based on our experience overall.

Don't know if that is usually included, but I had no clue that was going to be there so that was WONDERFUL. If the golf cart was not included we would probably pick a property closer to the beach. BUT, with the golf cart and the bikes, the beach was just moments away. We actually had fun using the bikes and cart to get to and from the beach.
The top floor has a twin bunk at the top and what appears to be a full bed at the bottom. The details say queen. No clue... didn't measure it. BUT two children could share the bottom bunk easy or two normal sized adults. Wouldn't plan on two adults on the bottom bunk. The third floor is super fun with a gaming system. Had fun playing Dig Dug, Pac Man, etc.
The outside balconies extend on two full sides of the house on the second and third floor. They went out of their way to decorate both well. Both have HUGE tables and plenty of chairs, along with small couch and chairs. Super cute.
Second floor has a bunk room and two other bedrooms. EASILY sleeps 8 people on second floor. Also, the utility room has a HUGE washer and dryer.
The family room was a little tight, but they did a great job at packing it full of plenty of places to sit. My kids said it was their favorite one so far.
I told the property company, but hope it makes it to the owner... someone soon needs to put felt under the furniture. Those wood floors are beautiful and they are getting scratched up with those chairs. We lifted the chairs and moved the rug to protect the wood floors while we were there, but others might not be as careful.

My husband had to do some work over our stay, so we took the top floor which has its own little living area, wrap around balcony, queen bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The true owner's suite is on the main floor, which was perfect for my parents and their knee /stair issues.
We took Ubers from the airport, had a huge grocery delivery from Publix, and enjoyed the pedestrian lifestyle, riding the cruisers around and the beach and pool across the street. The whole living area and kitchen looks across to the pool, which was also nice for seeing when others were there and seeing the kids.
Some pieces of information I thought would be helpful - there is both a drip coffee maker, as well as a Keurig (when I asked the question before our stay, I was told only drip), there is also a storage room off the front desk/patio which had beach chairs (maybe 4?), as well as a couple of boogie boards. I had also been told by Vacasa/VRBO there were no beach chairs. For people flying in and who don't want to be extorted by the local rental companies for chairs, having chairs provided is a big benefit, and should be mentioned for marketing purposes.
The kitchen was very well-appointed. Plenty of pots and skillets, so the owners definitely took into account the previous feedback. There is also seating for 8 at the table, very easily, and I had read 6.
One thing that was missing was beach towels. We had brought a few, but not enough, because I had read towels provided, and assed that would be beach ones as well, so people would not take the bath towels to the beach. Towels are easy to pack though, so no biggie, just good to know.
The last thing worth mentioning is that getting an Uber back to the airport was not straight forward. Definitely something to have prearranged, if you are not renting a car. We were able to schedule ahead with one of our previous drivers and lucked out just in time for the second car, but for about half an hour, we were seeing no cars available on a Saturday morning.
We would definitely go back, and would like to thank the owners for sharing their beautiful home with us!

Great location and space
We had 3 families (3 adults, 7 kids) stay at Wild Dunes with plenty of room for everyone. Highlights were:
-the booking didn’t require 7 days which was great for our long weekend get away
-house came with 7 bikes of various size which worked well for our group.
-all the bedrooms had a private bath except one of the queen rooms and bunk bed room. They had a shared bathroom with access from both rooms.
-location was great! Easy access to Rosemary and a quick walk to the beach.
-3 parking spaces
-2nd queen bedroom had its own space on the third floor.
-house was pretty clean
-outside decks had nice size tables and chairs for eating
-outdoor shower area and 2 separate hoses to rinse off.
Areas of improvement:
- shower curtains need replaced because of hard water stains on them.
-no frying pans in the kitchen provided
-No condiments/spices in kitchen (which is ok with me, but some guests prefer that for cooking)
-stove and dishwasher could use an update
-no ceiling fans on the outside decks
-small tv space for a house that sleeps so many people. (Not much can be done about that due to size limitations.)
-no door access to the back deck. You have to walk around the house. This could be added from the tv/kitchen area.
-tiny garbage can under the kitchen sink. Suggest buying a large free standing can with lid.

Beach Vacay
We loved the location but was somewhat disappointed in the cleanliness of the house. Every rug had some much sand under them. It was obvious they had just cleaned around them. The same for the countertops-crumbs under the toaster oven. The master bath drain was so slow that water backed up every time you took a shower. We tried to contact Vacasa but the wait time was over 30 minutes & we got disconnected twice.

Will Not ReBook
Great location. House had nice bones but came with a flying ant infestation which was quite annoying. Vacasa provided no means for rectifying the situation as the app would not load correctly - it just kept looping and asking for an email address which was provided but never resulted in an ability to communicate. $500 for no oversight whatsoever. Live ants were even in my luggage as I left, when they weren’t landing on my face while watching TV. The pillow shams had long black hairs from someone else - not my family. Not pleased and will not ever book with VRBO as a result.
