we would fully recommend this property for long or short stay,

a blind in the bathroom would make it more user friendly, the property information says fridge this needs changing to fridge/freezer also there is no mention of a washing machine which the property does have. operating instructions for the central heating would have been useful, having said that i did work it out ok.

A spacious house in a quiet area, great for families

A great location for exploring Yorkshire Dales and surrounding areas. Ripon itself is lovely. A very quiet residential area. We could park next to the house. The house itself is very spacious and kitchen is very well equipped. We also enjoyed a great selection of DVDs and books. A very useful welcome folder with great tips on what to see and where to eat.

There should have been more towels. I contacted the property to advise that there will be 3 guests rather than 2 guests staying, but there were only 2 towels in total provided, plus one hand towel in the bathroom. I would have expected two towels per guest. Also there was very little hand soap, so I ended up buying our own. The property could be cleaner, especially the bathroom. There was no welcome pack - I would have expected at least some milk in the fridge.

Very comfortable and spacious

Location was great because I only live on the next street to it, was there because my bathroom had flooded and had to move out of my house whilst new flooring was put in and bath, sink and toilet had to be taken out

Nothing, it was an excellent place to stay with plenty of room and very comfortable, an ideal home to rent if you wanted to come to Ripon for a holiday

We were more or less quite happy with our short stay.

I liked that it was so close to Ripon. I liked that there were takeaways and restaurants within a short walking distance.

It wasn't the owner's fault, but someone that stayed prior to us made the sofa smell funny. It didn't smell pleasant, we reported this and the owner said she would have it cleaned.

Great location, very comfortable and very well equipped property.

The location of this property is perfect for exploring Ripon and it’s surrounding areas. The house is fully equipped with everything you could need.

It was rather dusty and the hoover gave out a horrible smell after using it…but it wouldn’t stop us booking again.

The house had everything you could have needed, very well stocked with kitchen items, books and DVD’s. Plenty of space, nice quiet location.

location, easy to access and explore Ripon.

Soft furnishings - bedding, duvet cover although clean and fresh were a bit tired and worn. small holes on the seams of my bedding

Good location, pleasant stay.

Location excellent, clean and spacious house, well equipped. Nice to have garden too. Very easy to access key with no fuss.

In the visitor book a welcome pack was praised in almost every review - however there was no welcome pack for us. Also no dishwasher tablets - we had to buy them. Only a tiny amount of washing up liquid and no hand soap downstairs.

Lovely home!

Beautiful house in a brilliant location to explore North Yorkshire! The house has everything you need and more for the perfect family stay. We took our three year old and he loved the outside space, board games and teddy bears. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Definitely recommend

Great location, within walking distance of Ripon. House was exceptionally well equipped with everything you could possibly want. Lovely welcome pack there for our arrival, and milk in fridge ready for you.

Only negative we have is that the bath plug was broke so unable to use bath, however the shower was nice and hot.
