Situated in Byron Bay, this charming house for $267 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Live like a local in this secret gem of a house. Enjoy all the beauty that Byron Bay has to offer, tucked away from the bustle of town with only a short walk to the beach. This home, designed by Troppo architects to capture the south easterly breeze from Tallows Beach, is in the perfect quiet location, with friendly neighbours and no through traffic. Easily sleeps 8 guests with an additional sofa bed for two downstairs in the activity room. Two ensuite bathrooms in each master bedroom and a share bathroom for the the two central bedrooms, as well as an outdoor shower and toilet downstairs. Cook up a storm in the state of the art kitchen, with Miele appliances dishwasher, and two ovens, blender, toaster, electrical rice cooker and sandwich maker, as well as all good quality utensils with a kitchen herb garden, and Weber BBQ. Large undercover decks with hanging chair, couches and outdoor dining table, allow you to eat and relax outside, even when it’s raining. There are two large flat screen TVs with Netflix, Disney, Amazon Prime, and a Playstation 4 as well as an extensive collection of board games and puzzles, magazines and books. Original local and Australian art, Aesops bathroom products, eye masks, and all the creature comforts. Every room has a Haiku ceiling fan and it’s own air conditioning unit. Living at 42 Byron is exactly like staying in an art house hotel, including a welcome hamper and the impeccable Luxico concierge services. Walk out the front door and head off on the Lighthouse walk, or wander across coastal bush land to Tallows beach and cosy corner. Out the back gate, it’s 2 minutes walk to the infamous Top Shop for breakfast coffee or lunch. The beach is only 5 minutes walk away with boogie boards, beach equipment plenty of fresh beach towels, sunblock all supplied. You will have a stunning holiday at 42 Byron. The house is extremely well maintained and in a superb location. Situated on a hill, looking over Arakwal National Park, with ocean glimpses, set in native and tropical gardens, full of birds and wildlife, your stay will leave you feeling completely refreshed. THE AREA A short stroll to everything Byron Bay can offer - beaches, cafes, shops and restaurants 5 min stroll to Clarkes Beach 15 min stroll to Byron Town 10 min stroll to Tallows Beach 25 min stroll to Cape Byron Lighthouse BYRON SHIRE NOISE RESTRICTIONS All of our houses have firm no-party policies with no additional guests allowed to visit the house at any time. Sound travels to the neighbours easily and as such, noise levels are to be respectful at all times of the day and no music or outdoor entertaining whatsoever after 10pm. Receiving a noise complaint will result in a bond deduction if Quiet Hotline Security are called to the house and they deem the noise levels from the street disruptive to the neighbourhood. These fines from the local Quiet Hotline Security can occur at any time from 6pm – 6am and are $165 each time plus a $55 invoice processing fee. Multiple noise complaints may result in being asked to vacate immediately with no refund of remaining tariff or bond. Sorry to be so strict but noise levels are a serious issue in the Byron Shire and keeping our neighbours happy is of paramount importance. Sleeps up to 8 adults comfortably, plus 2 children if required Bedroom #1: King bed w/ ensuite Bedroom #2: King bed or 2x Singles Bedroom #3: King bed or 2x Singles Bedroom #4: King bed or 2x Singles w/ ensuite Yoga room: Queen sized sofa bed & access to downstairs powder room(set-up on request) The bedrooms 2 and 3 northern walls are open at the top to maximise airflow and ventilation. Wish we could have stayed longer than a week. Perfect house in a great location. Beautifully architected and furnished, with an awesome kitchen and balcony area. Fantastic, easy, and friendly concierge who was very easy to contact and discuss our trip. Definitely coming back if available.

We were fortunate to stumble across 42 Byron on a last minute pre VCE winter time out in Byron Bay. The house is Troppo designed, with generous living and sleeping areas, the kitchen is equipped with everything needed for those who want to cook up a storm. There is even a well stocked herb garden in the back yard. However the house is stumbling distance from “top shop”, for those with serious caffeine addiction, you will need to time your sortie well to avoid the throngs of fellow addicts. We barely used our car as the house is walking/running distance from beach, shops, and running tracks. We never saw the Luxico team due to the crazy times we live in but they were always available to sort out minor issues as they arose. It was a wonderful retreat, run, sun, sleep, repeat, yes please!!!!.
