If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet. - Please note that this home is surrounded by restaurants and is situated in a busy area with strong nightlife activity. - Please note, we do not allow shipping or deliveries of parcels to any of our properties since we do not have access to mailboxes, and cannot guarantee delivery, receipt, or protection of your items at the property. - This home is located in a neighborhood with a strict noise ordinance policy and therefore is only suitable for quieter groups. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home, otherwise, if violations occur you may be subject to a fine that can reach up to $10,000. Parking Details: No parking available on site, we highly encourage Uber or Lyft. Street parking is limited and garage parking is at a cost; not affiliated with our property. This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib available. A high chair can be provided upon request with at least 24hrs advanced notice. Just ask and we are happy to accommodate you and your little ones! --- The room configuration is as follows: Primary Bedroom / King bed with En-suite Living room / Sleeper sofa + 2 twin size tri-fold sleeping mats --- Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit. This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees. There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions. As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards. IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit. We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

Nice small spot in La Jolla.

This place was just what we needed. In the heart of La Jolla cove. Easy short walk to restaurants, shops and the coast. Very clean, enough towels for the week. I thought we would need the kitchen but we didn't - it was great they had coffee :) The bed was super comfortable. While there was no AC, they did have a window unit in the bedroom that was great at night. Check in and out was easy, if we needed anything we got a quick reply via text.

Perfect location to everything. My husband has Parkinson's and it was great for the wheel chair to go walking to shops and restaurants. Very cute place and perfect for my husband and I.

I needed a place to stay while conducting some client work in La Jolla. This worked really well for me and is in a great part of La Jolla. Lots of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood!

First we want to start by saying, we normally don't do reviews so it takes a little extra for us to say something.
After a pleasant check-in process, we walked in the unit. Overall, it was a bit smaller than we expected but the size was adequate for what we needed - so no issues there. Now for the part that ruined it for us. Over a period of 16 hours, we found a total of at least 10 cockroaches around the unit. At first, it was just a couple here and there on the walls/floors, but the longer the stay went on, the more we noticed. They started popping up everywhere, in shower, on the couch, in the bed, all the places you would hope not to find them. I am pregnant, so the last thing I wanted to do was stay at a place that made me even more uncomfortable. We finally made the decision to call the property manager and see what could be done about this. We obviously wanted to be out of there ASAP. Our stay was only to be for 3 nights, and after two nights, we just couldn't be there any longer. The first response we got was - they would just come spray for bugs. Well for obvious reasons being pregnant, I didn't want to stay at a place with a bunch of chemicals sprayed everywhere. We informed the office manager at AvantStay we would be leaving regardless. After waiting for a manager to call back, they replied via text we'd be entitled to compensation. After such a bad experience, we were hoping to just get a refund in full and we would move on without leaving a bad review, potentially effecting future business with the property. AvantStay said they would reply back by the "end of the day". The problem was, we were essentially stranded without knowing where we would stay that night, waiting for a resolution. We eventually just checked in to a local hotel. We finally got a call back after 7:30 pm, and were told there would be no full refund, rather a $200 credit for a future AvantStay property. For obvious reasons, we wouldn't ever be using a credit. They once again said they would call back after speaking to the leadership team. I received my final call from them at the airport waiting to go home, saying we'd get a refund for the final night only. Overall, the timeliness, the lack of regard for our situation, and decision to not properly account for cockroaches in a property was HIGHLY disappointing. We tried our best to not let it affect our vacation, but it definitely did. BEWARE before booking this may happen to you. We won't be staying here again.

The location of this property is close to many wonderful spots to eat! The property was very clean and the amenities offered are perfect. For overnight parking, I suggested using the public parking across the street if you’re staying overnight.

Summer Trip Review
Great location for getting around La Jolla, the walks can be very nice. The surrounding area and block is nice, but the actual apartment complex was proposed online to be nicer than reality.

There isn’t parking and it can be a bit noisy before 10 pm though it does get pretty quiet after 10 when the restaurants close. The house truths in the listing do a good job summarizing the pro/con of the unit. It is def in great location. Right in the middle of town which is great. There isn’t parking and it can be a bit noisy before 10 pm though it does get pretty quiet after 10 when the restaurants close. Overall, a great unit for someone who wants to be in town and doesn’t mind a little noise.

The location is excellent and close to everything in the Village of La Jolla. The unit itself has been upgraded nicely with modern updates in the kitchen and bathroom and was very clean.
However, our overall experience was disappointing due to the following concerns. The original building is older and not sound proof. In our ground floor apartment, we heard footsteps and a creaking floor in the unit above. We found the bed very uncomfortable because it didn't have a box spring supporting the foam mattress. The living room chairs were mainly cosmetic and not really comfortable to sit in for any length of time. The Sofa bed as a couch was the most uncomfortable of all the living room furniture. The onsite laundry facility consisted of a single washer and dryer in a dirty storage room.
The WIFI and TV with the fire stick were nice to have and performed very well. I found parking at one of the ACE parking garages on Cave St. who let me pay for 2 weeks which was a bonus and was secured parking!
While this review seems to be harsh we just wanted people to be informed of what the issues are in relation to the pictures displayed for this ground floor Unit.
The location is close to everything, enjoy The Village of La Jolla as much as we did.

We enjoyed our stay at the property very much. Everything was clean, neat and well maintained. Our only minor issue was that there was no outdoor sitting area - however we knew that this would be the case as we rented the property - and the location of the rental near the ocean more than made up for that!

Thanksgiving Reunion La Jolla
The property turned out to be a God-send for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We had to bring our pups last minute. We couldn't have asked for a better place. Brand new inside, uber clean and stylishly decorated. It was stocked with everything you could need. Cozy bedroom, beautiful kitchen and bathroom with plenty of storage space. Living room with TV was super comfortable to hang out. The location was so central and easy to walk the dogs in the area. Property Management was easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend it and book it again!!! A total Find!

I have to say this unit is located in such a perfect spot for La Jolla. You can walk to tons of restaurants shopping in the shore.
Clean, newly updated and kitchen has everything you need if you’d like to cook.
Hard to find parking but that’s just the area.
I’ll be back for sure!
