About this house rental
Located in Lake Blackshear, this lovely house for $295 per night is a great option for your next trip. We have a 4 bedroom 2 bath home over looking one of the best parts of Lake Blackshear. We are directly across from the Georgia Veterans State Park. Only a 5 minute drive by boat or car to the two restaurants at the state park, Flintside Marina Restaurant, World Famous Booger Bottom and in the car we are 5 minutes away from The Cove, Daphne’s fine dinning, the Dollar General and Striplings Country Store. In the master suit you will have a queen bed, the first guest room will offer a queen bed, the third room has a queen bed and the fourth room has 2 sets of bunks beds. We have a boat dock with two boat slips if needed. We also own the house next door and will be able to assist with any of your needs with easy.

We are usually headed to the beach for family vacations and were disappointed we could not find a place to accommodate all of us. This lakeside retreat was FANTASTIC!!! We stayed on the dock, in the water or on paddle boards and kayaks the whole week! The convenience of having the grills made cooking a breeze! As we have several friends living in the area, we got to visit with them and even made a trip to Ga's own "Grand Canyon". Looking forward to coming back! would recommend this to anyone interested in a quiet relaxing time!

We enjoyed the awesome view from the deck! The host was super easy to work with and his response time was quick with any questions we had. We will definitely book this property again.

This property provided our family a great space to celebrate my moms birthday. The backyard, deck and dock were awesome! And the view is spectacular! Our one disappointment was the slide on the dock had been removed. The kids, and some adults, we’re looking forward to that. Lol! We would definitely stay at this property again.

We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation from GSW. The place was lovely and had all the amenities. The view of the lake and the grounds is beautiful. Check-in was a breeze and everyone commented on how much they loved the place. Plus we were able to use the slip for our boat which was fabulous. 10 of 10.

Great place to stay. We flew in and rented a car. We didn't cook a thing which is unusual for us, but we had a great stay. Pecan groves on the drive in and out are way interesting. One daughter took a swim or two. Not a lot of time to explore, but it was a great place to hang a hat and rest. Will consider again if in the area for sure.

Could not have asked for a more wonderful weekend.
Of course weather wasn’t all that great… for softball but, in between the layovers we played pool, cards, fished, watched movies, laughed and made wonderful memories. The owner was absolutely wonderful and so great! All he asked is that we have fun! How awesome was that! We definitely will be back! Not a complaint for one of my family members especially the boys… they loved fishing and kayaking!

We had an amazing time! The kids did not want to leave. We enjoyed the convenience of the State Park and Bouys on Blackshear. The views from the sunroom are so beautiful! We loved seeing all the geese on the water.

We enjoyed our visit to the lake. The property manager was responsive when I reached out to him. The home had a stuffy smell when we arrived. Great view of the lake, enjoyed the deck and dock area. There were a couple of dead roaches inside. Overall good stay

I have been renting properties on Blackshear for years. This one is my favorite. The black stone griddle was a big hit and lots of fun. The kids enjoyed the slide. I enjoyed the quietness of the cove.

Awesome stay
Excellent place for our friends and family to stay. Thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there and definitely would stay again. Hosts were excellent and more than willing to do what they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Property was very nice and clean. Beautiful lake view and very accommodating, we had everything we needed right at our hands. And the host were very helpful. Will definitely always be out first choice when visiting lake blackshear

We never had a need to contact the owners, but we also were only there to sleep. The absolute ONLY issue we had was the neighbor's dogs. The house to the right of the property had 3 large dogs who barked non stop at us when we arrived (really, not a big deal, there was a fence between). The issue was Saturday morning, the only morning we had to sleep past 6 am. Before 7 am the dogs were all outside and barked constantly. No rest that morning for our long trip home. There was 1 dog at the property on the opposite side, but we never heard a peep out of it when it was outside. Otherwise, the property is beautiful. The livingroom with the big windows facing the lake would have been a wonderful retreat for a few days had we had the opportunity to stay longer. The lake and all the amenities the owners provided would make for a fun family or friends vacation!

Nice Lake Blackshear Home
We rented the cabin to see some family in the area and enjoy the lake. We brought our boat and were able to tie up to the dock and access the main lake with no problems. The house is setup very nicely for a family gathering, and the children especially enjoyed the slide at the dock!
Access to the property was easy, and we especially enjoyed the sun room overlooking the lake. Nice place to stay and the fact that it's not on the main lake is nice because you aren't bombarded with all the boat traffic at the dock.

We enjoyed our family weekend at this property. Everything was nice and clean and the kids enjoyed swimming and tubing .
