Pictures are deceiving

Close to the beach,Port Alfred is a hidden gem

The damp smell when you enter,The toilet downstairs is smelly,needs a deep cleaning try using drain acid and toilet balls,torn curtains are a worst thing you can see when entering a self catering,gives a bad impression,braai grid was dirty,they only finished cleaning up when we arrived after I have been communicating I will be in the area a few hours early,if they can replace the cutlery which is rusted,dining seats,outside table and chairs,braai grid,smelly toilet,torn curtains,door and window frame paint,close the Lid on the Jojo tank all the dirt is going in,the place can be better

Pleasant

The location of the property makes up for alot of flaws within the property.

I did read on reviews that the wifi was poor but for us it was non existent. In today world where wifi is now free at most places it should work. Booking.Com should remove this as a facility as it is non existent.

Enjoyed our stay

Close to the beach. Nice view. Close to all amenities.

Noise of cars passing. People partying across the road with load music. Cars spinning across the road. Wifi didnt work Main bedroom bed was a bit too hard.

Cleaning team need supervision

The place is close to everything. The lady who received us was warm.

The mattress are dirty, the blankets in the wardrobe were filthy, the pots need a good scrubbing, the microwave was so filthy we didn't use it. The oven for the stove was so dirty it was smelly. Couldn't use it.

Ok accommodation with a good location.

Location was beautiful.

WiFi was not available during the stay, apparently fibre was being installed. Some amenities were run down and even though pets were not allowed, there was droppings in various areas of the property.

Not Great!

The location and views seemed great because of the advert,. There was a water tank, so when water was cut, we were still able to shower.

Across the road from the unit was a public space which was occupied all day and into the night with loud music and noise with litter everywhere and the complex fence was used as a urinal.

Best trip

Not at all, Staff welcomed us with love and we were not sure about the venue, she directed us because it was our first time visiting Port Alfred.

Bed need to be improved worse the bunk bed it is not good for adults

We enjoyed our stay. Our kids loved the set up of the apartment.

The property owner is very nice and the property is value for money.

The stay were overall reasonable.

Reception was very friendly. The facility were sparkling clean. We had water even in the water crisis currently in Port Alfred. Wifi

The 3 seated coach were broken. One of the pots lid did not have a handle. The outside furniture were very dirty and could have been cleaned before our arrival. The big plate of the stove were not in working condition and when I switched on the oven it was very dirty. Smoke started coming from the oven as a result of food that over cooked in the oven.

Where it is located. The beds were comfortable.

Geyser was not working we bathed with cold water. They came to fix it during our stay and we nearly missed our boat cruise, our saturday was a bad experience. My kids used called water for bathing in winter. No privacy they fix things whilst you are there, they also came to fix the wifi. They should check their geysers prior to checking in. Also in the kitchen the dishes were not properly washed, before using we had to rewash, Im not talking about dust here, even the spoons have rust.

Staff are friendly. Location is perfect. There is a place for kids to play The security for each unit is great The unit is specious.

The grills for braai stands should be cleaned. That is the only think i felt can be improved as everything else was good. Perhaps a list of possible entertainment areas can be left in each unit so that one can be familiar with where to take the kids. Some of the things in the children area can be improved. The swings for example are very old and one of the rope has been cut of due to wear and tear.
