It was really nice and very safe we loved it

There were no pools and 1 apartment leak water till in the TV room and kitchen from the toilet

Pleasant stay.

Convenient location close to beach and popular restaurant. Nice view from balcony. Safe play area for young children.

Apartment needs some TLC. Decent stay for short term.

The location was easy to find with the provided directions. Its in a great area in town, close to shops and restaurants and provides a great view of the ocean. Property seems well secure and has garages if you travel in your own vehicle. The BnB has a play area with jungle gym for kids. The apartment was very well sized and is suitable for large families. Lovely outdoor braai area and verandas to have drinks or meals. Unfortunately we never experienced the full vacation stay but would definitely be a great choice. There is a large selection of cutlery and crockery so none of your own items need to be brought. Working stove, fridge, kettle, microwave etc. offers a full self catering experience. Spar, Pick n Pay and other grocery stores are very close by.

The apartment is slightly run down and not very well maintained. Gates, hinges and any item made of steel has significant rust. Needs a paint job on skirtings. Tiles are loose. Built in cupboard doors dont close well due to the rusted hinges. Lamps dont have covers, just a bare bulb. Most dont even function. Beds are rock solid, very uncomfortable, as with the couches. WiFi is not freely available, as costly as paying for your own data. R250 for 5GB. Basin mixers are loose and the shower has faulty plumbing. The shower heads are worn and leak constantly which is a major issue considering how strict the EC is on water usage. A cheap replacement would be good enough to provide a much better shower experience. Drain is also blocked so you will constantly have to pause your shower to allow the water to drain. No soaps, shampoo, toothpaste is provided but its not too much of an issue. Overall, the apartment needs some TLC. There NEEDS to be maintenance. One cannot simply leave the property as is especially considering the cost of these repairs are very low. I would highly suggest to the owners to get some supplies and DIY. Noise is also a concern. Constant loud music is always being played, even on weekdays. They stop fairly early, around 9-10pm but its still an issue. This is no fault of the property but of other residents nearby.

It was so relaxing.

The apartment was clean, spacious and the view was brilliant. Everything you could want was within walking distance. People living in the area were friendly and made you feel welcome.

My stay was short, I wish we stayed a bit more. It was ecstatic. Love the security measures in place

I liked everything, the apartment, the view, the neighborhood, tranquility. Went for a jog in the mornings and people around there are generally friendly I guess. It was safe, clean and has that warmth and welcoming vibe. The strict rules are to be adhered to otherwise it wouldn't be what it is today :)

It's winter, I don't like that they don't have eletric blankets. The apartment had 2 heaters and one wasn't working. Other than that everything else was perfect.

Place is close to the sea.. With nice view. Equipped with everything necessary. Safe yard

The apartments were not close to each other. Some of the rooms had single beds which made it difficult to sleep aa couples.

Fully equipped kitchen, sea view from my window was amazing and the restaurants which are 2 kilometers away

They must also wash the dishes when they clean up the apartment, not to tell the guests to wash dishes How can u wash dishes on vacation.? 😢

Superb

The location of the place, the place is big and there's enough space and rooms for big families. The workers made sure we were comfortable, they called constantly to make sure we are having a nice time.

The heater was not working, the toilet papers were short we ended buying for ourselves.

Affordable accommodation in Port Alfred

Spacious accommodation within walking distance to the beach. Very central location within Port Alfred. Close to local restaurant for lazy afternoon lunches and cocktails.

Location

The house need maintance, things are falling apart. Please replace beds in all the room, comfort is priority when you go for holidays. The worst was not to have running water from the taps from Christmas eve and Christmas day, until the office was opened on the 26th. We were also hoping that we would also get fresh linen and towels on the 26th, but nothing.

Location and spaciousness of the apartment, loved the double garage

Some of the windows couldn't close properly due to damage, some of couches had stains, the mattresses though not horrible could be softer

Upgrading is needed

The location and the view of the beach ⛱️ and surroundings.

The fact that the TV was not in operation for all the duration of our stay. No lamps provided for loadshedding. The negative attitude of the resort manager when bringing up concerns. Furniture old and dilapidated, windows dirty, ironing board broken, shower tap not fully functional, rubbish bins no lid.etc. I am not happy at all but instead disappointed because the money paid didn't match the service we received.

The place is spacious and was just perfect for our group. it was clean and had everything we needed.
