About this house rental
Completely remodel 2 story 1890 home with fantastic ocean and light house views. Up stairs is two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen bed and TV with internet services. Two bathrooms upstairs. One with tub, one with shower. Kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances . Living room has 65" TV with internet services, couch, love seat, two swivel rockers. Panoramic ocean view from inside house or off large deck. Sit and watch the whales (seasonal). Or the winter storm waves crash over the rocks of light house. Downstairs has one bedroom with twin beds, ocean view, laundry facilities, playroom and half bathroom. BBQer on site. Access to the beach with a spiral staircase just 100 feet out the front door. This home has stairs to entrance and exits. Not wheelchair friendly! No pets or service/ companion animals or smoking on the property. No exceptions! Book this wonderful, updated, well maintained property if staying in Crescent City!!! Great location to access multiple Redwood Parks. Jedediah was the closest and provided our favorite hike which was Stout Grove and the stunning Smith River. We traveled less than an hour to beautiful coastal Oregon sights. Arch Rock and the many stop offs in the area were amazing. Coming from the east coast we flew into Medford, Oregon and had a 2 1/2 hour drive to settle in and enjoy this oceanfront home that felt like home away from home. You can see and hear the ocean, as well as access the shoreline just steps away. We saw starfish at low tide, a full size red rock crab and variety of birds. The Battery Point Lighthouse house was a short walk and interesting to explore at low tide. (And within view from the home!) To see its light shine around at night and listen to the harbor horns gave the full experience. Groceries, coffee shops and restaurants just minutes away. This was the CLEANEST vrbo we have ever stayed in. It was loaded with everything you could need with many, many bonuses and upgrades. WOW! We felt so comfortable. The neighborhood was pleasant and quiet. Host was excellent through the whole entire process from booking to saying goodbye. Five stars - our family THANKS YOU so much for sharing this property for our first time on the west coast!!

The house was awesome!! This house doesn't feel like a VRBO/rental. It felt like we were staying at a friend's house. Open floor plan that focuses on looking out into the ocean and lighthouse. The house was spotless and was perfect for a family of 4. We communicated with the hosts before we arrived and used some of the recommendations they had for us. They also surprised us with a happy birthday sign, balloon and cupcake for one of us. Sea Quake Brewing was also a great spot right down the street!!
