Unterkunft hevorragend, daran gibt es nichts auszusetzen, rechtzeitig Access Code ungenügend.

Die Unterkunft im Kona Bali Kai #318 hat eine außergewöhnlich gute Lage. Von der Unterkunft direkt den Pazifik von dem Balkon. Es war alles sehr sauber, ruhige Unterkunft und nicht weit vom Stadtkern Kailua Kona entfernt. Die Küchenutensilien waren alle in einem guten Zustand.

Die Zugangsinformationen habe ich erst in San Francisco Airport erhalten. Und das nur mit Glück. Ich habe mehrere Tage vor Abflug Die Mitarbeiter von VACASA gebeten mir den Access Code rechtzeitig vor Abflug in Frankfurt zu zusenden. Das wurde verweigert mit dem Hinweis, dass diese Information erst ein Tag vor Ankunft Ortszeit erteilt wird. Und das ist wesentlich zu spät für Gäste aus Übersee. Ich hatte eine Reisezeit von knapp 22 Stunden und eine Zeitverschiebung zu Deutschland von 11 Stunden. Offensichtlich können bei VACASA einige nicht rechnen. Das war eine Zumutung sondergleichen und ich hatte noch nie soviel Ärger mit dem Access Code wie dieses Jahr. Das wird künftig eine Bewertungsgrundlage für eine weitere Buchung sein. Auch werde ich das VACASA noch persönlich mitteilen. Wenn ich künftig keine rechtzeitige Information über den Zugang zur Unterkunft erhalten kann, werde diese Anlage nicht mehr buchen. Diese Zusicherung will ich von VACASA. Zudem sollten die reservierten Parkplätze so gekennzeichnet sein, dass man sie lesen kann. Das war alles überdimensional abgenutzt.

Lack of air conditioner was difficult at times

Couldn't find the broom. Did find it eventually. Drier didn't work.

The views can’t be beat.Falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean was amazing.

The View! they had activities, snorkel gear, etc. the location was the best part.

no AC and never got the internet to work. However, there was enough breeze to help with no AC.

Palm Trees and Beautiful Sunset!

The location! It was lovely waking up and walking out to the balcony and see the surfers out in the ocean. The unit was clean and well laid out for our needs and comfortable for our group of four.

The pull out couch was a bit tired which did not offer enough sturdiness/comfort for a good night sleep.

apartment full of ants. Restroom on bad conditions. toilet tank has the handle lose and shower smell like sewer. When I booked I saw few pictures and I get something completely different also description said W/D and also ocean view I spoke with someone on front desk they give me a phone number I called and they said thanks for let me know. We packed less cloths because we expected washer and dryer and we don’t get nothing. My wife get mad with me because she don’t get her ocean view that she was expecting. I know prices on Kona are high and probably this is a cheap option, but if you can find something else.

Superb

The apartment fit our family of 5 just right. The washer and dryer in the unit was a big plus. Beautiful views, sunsets, surfers and just the constant smell of the ocean made the stay absolutely perfect.

We stayed there AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE! It was uncomfortable

False advertising. We were suppose to be on ocean side, instead we were on busy noisy street side. Carpet was discusting, bathroom needs remodeling.

Vacasa staff were very helpful when we needed them.

suite very tired, not that clean, layer of dust on fake flowers. We had 2 cockroaches in the suite. Washed dishes before we used them.

You don't always get what you want!

Air conditioner felt great. Close to ocean and shopping. Centrally located.

Pictures described on internet as the room I picked, showed ocean front and we were across the street. Extremely loud neighbors and traffic. Small nats all over. Only a few rolls of tp.

The view is wonderful and the place was comfortable and quiet. It was on the second floor and there is an elevator for accessibility. We had a really great stay here.

The cleaning fee was really expensive here (more so than most condos).

The unit was very dated and had electrical problems.

Everything.

Not didn't like, but some maintenance issues one of them a safety issue. The microwave outlet kept shorting out. The other issue being that the bathroom sink drain was slightly clogged making draining slow.

Great amenities, but loud and not ocean front

Location was good, and it had everything we needed.

The room was very loud (the windows don't really (close so road noise and noise from other apartments can make it difficult to sleep if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs). The picture made it seem like it was an ocean front room but it's not. The balcony faces the road and its on ground level. The property said we could check in at 3pm but when we got there we were informed that it would be closer to 3:30... and ended up being closer to 4:15...but at least the weather was nice and it was affordable compared to what else was available. But we booked last minute.

Pleasant

It was right across the street from the ocean and had one good place for food nearby. The trolly stop was also nearby which made traveling very easy.

Location seemed a bit sketchy at times and the pictures were very misleading.

It was such a stressful experience and overpriced. Would not recommend.

The room itself was fine. The pillows were super uncomfortable and hurt my neck but overall I was only there for a total of like 11 hours. I arrived at 10 pm and checked out at 9 am the next morning.

$192 in cleaning fees? For one night? For a studio apartment? In what world does that make sense? Your cancellation policy made it so after booking without seeing this outrageous cleaning fee, I couldn't cancel. I could only cancel July 13 (a full month prior to booking the room) for $92. I was bombarded by over 10 emails, texts, messages. It's now been about 6 days since I stayed there and in total I received well over 25 texts, emails, and messages from the property about my stay which lasted one night, 11 hours. Why? I need to know how to check in, and that is the only message I need to receive. I was trying to enjoy my vacation while I was constantly receiving messages. The wifi information was not posted in the room, so I had to call the 24/7 phone line, and I fell asleep after being on hold for 30 minutes. The property reeked of mildew due to carpeted outdoor common areas, and the carpeted balcony was constantly wet due to the dripping air conditioner.

Relaxing watching the waves crash in and the surfers.

Having the small private beach right out from our room was a real bonus.

The master bed was not comfortable but the kids beds were.

overall it was nice with beach view /easy beach access .

kitchen had essential items .

The day we entered the property - rooms were very hot . so was tough first day . seems like fans had to be operated in reverse to get cool air which we learnt next day from the person who came to help . could have been nice to have it as instructions so easier . we also had lot of small bugs in the room ( like fruit flies )so that should have been taken care of earlier .
