About this house rental
Located in Kidder Township, this lovely house for $300 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Relax in our comfy 5 bedroom retreat in Lake Harmony. Ski Big Boulder Mountain, swim at the Boulder Lake Club, enjoy all that the Poconos has to offer! Nicely furnished townhome with bar and pool table in finished basement. Deck has a grille for barbecuing and there is a porch that overlooks the tennis courts. We provide complimentary passes to the Boulder Lake Clubhouse which includes swimming pool and beach lake. The passes also allow you to use the tennis courts. There is a beautiful gas fireplace on main floor with modern decor and furniture. On the main floor there is the primary bedroom with a queen sized bed and private bathroom featuring a shower and soaking tub. The upper level has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and the other with 2 twin sized bunk beds. The lower level also features 2 bedrooms, one has a queen sized bed and the other has 2 twin sized beds. ***NEW FOR 2023*** New Whirlpool Refrigerator New Living Room Couches New Pool Table ***NEW FOR 2022*** New Char Broil Performance 5 Burner Propane Grill with side burner All new Fire TVs throughout the home with Hulu Live and assorted streaming apps. ***NEW FOR 2021*** New GE Washing Machine and Dryer. Google Nest Thermostat. For guest and home safety we have installed a video doorbell on the front door. There is no other video/audio surveillance on the home. There is a strict no pets rule for the sake of our guests who have allergies. If it is discovered that you have brought a pet, your entire security deposit will be forfeited. We do not have a hot tub. Please do not use our neighbors hot tub. We have had multiple issues with this and unfortunately your entire security deposit will be forfeited if you use the hot tub so that we can pay to have it cleaned. This is a non-smoking/vaping house, if it is discovered that someone is smoking/vaping your entire security deposit will be forfeited. The place is gorgeous. We loved the fact we could be together for the holidays and not worry about traffic and who is bringing what or who needs to go to the store for anything. Everyone enjoyed their time there. Amazon Fire TV's everywhere for everyone to have their choice of what to watch if needed.
Pool table in the basement to enjoy as well. Always a fun family game. Washer/Dryer was there for our need although I don't think we utilized it BUT, better to have and not need than to need and not have I always say.
I want to thank Al and Vince for allowing us to use their home. It was an amazing weekend and hopefully they would allow us to go back if need be.

The house was exactly as advertised, with extra attention to detail for the Holiday's with decorations around the house. My daughter especially loved that the owners left a Christmas tree up! I corresponded with one of the owner's, Al, who couldn't have been nicer. He called months in advance to ensure we had the opportunity to ask questions to make our stay more enjoyable.
The house is a 1min drive from the Big Boulder Ski resort, which our family took advantage of. Also nearby are plenty of good places to eat (I recommend Nick's on the Lake & Shenanigans, both are great). This location is perfect since it is nearby both Big Boulder, Jack Frost, and Split Rock.
We are looking forward to booking a 2nd trip!

The location of this property and the surrounding area was perfect for our family reunion weekend. It was convenient to everything that we were interested in doing - golfing, hiking, swimming (pool and lake) tennis and pickleball. Unfortunately, the property and communication with the owner were not great. Prior to our arrival I emailed the owner with some questions about the area and did not receive a reply. The information I needed was not crucial so I let the no response slide. Three months prior to our arrival I received an email from the owner with the passcode, arrival information, etc. I thought it strange to receive this information so early but didn’t give it much thought after receiving the email. Upon arrival the passcode did not work so I called the owner. No answer so I left a message. Fifteen minutes later with still no response I sent a text to the owner. Fifteen minutes later still no response, so I called his place of business. They were very understanding and said they would have the owner call me. It literally took me almost an hour and five phone calls to finally get the correct passcode. I never did speak with the owner. After gaining entry we found a clogged sink, moldy shower, large amount of hair on the floor of one bathroom and stained carpets. We found out later that this property is listed for sale. I would not recommend renting this townhouse because of the owner’s lack of communication and the condition of the unit.

Cool area to hang out and very nice family oriented neighborhood to walk around in. Field right out the backyard to throw a frisbee, kick a ball, etc. Also tennis court right behind house as well.

When the host is so attentive and guides you to even personal interests you want to stay there for more time than you planned. We had a blast at this place for 2 nights and everyone in the family wanted to stay an extra day but duty calls.
The location is absolutely attractive if you love natural scenery and the amenities are definitely worth it. Also it was easy to communicate with the host and his prompt response made us feel so welcomed. Looking forward to staying here again.

This townhome has tons of space, with 5 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms + a small loft, and lots of open ceilings. The kitchen is very well stocked. The owner was easy to connect with, when needed. The view of the Big Boulder Lake and Big Boulder Mountain ski area are front and center. It worked very well for a ski weekend with our family and friends, with a nice living room and 2 story fireplace for the older crowd and a large family room, with pool table and seated bar area, for the younger part of our group.

Everything was amazing from the moment we walked in the door. The lock was easy to open, and the decorating was very well done. The place was spotless and very accommodating. We had three children and eight adults, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was very adaptable for our needs Friday night we had a make your own pizza bar and a make your own salad bar. The following night we had a barbecue, even though it was January, it was very warm that weekend. One of the wonderful features of the house was that every light switch was all labeled so you did not have to try to figure out which switch operated which light. We did play some of the games that were provided even though we had brought several bags of our own games. The place is centrally located, we enjoyed a train ride in Jim Thorpe and ice-skating at Toyota SportsPlex in Wilkes- barre. We did look out at the ski slope, but didn’t use it as the weather was very warm. Thank you so much to the owners for this beautiful rental.

This home was a solid pick for my family . The owner might be one of the best renters I have ever dealt with. Very accommodating. Privacy is all yours. One call away assistance with quick responses. The house is a perfect size for big family get together. So much to do around the area, the lake unfortunately is closed this summer and the pool is pretty small, but there’s so much other things you can do this won’t change your trip, the pool table was a hit. Watching the baseball games while drinking and playing pool had such a bar like feeling but we were home safe.. amazing time, plenty of beds the bbq grill was great hdmi ready in the living room for an extra games or device you want to connect, plenty of bathrooms.. a great time really .. plan your attractions ahead of the time with this as your place to crash and this is solid .. thanks so much again. … we never knew Phillies fans were so cool.. lol, Jk .. hope to revisit in the near future.

Beautiful area and a great house
We spent our annual family vacation at the home and it was a great time. There was 13 of us from age 5-67. There was plenty of room for us. The deck was great for morning coffee and often in the morning and evening we would see deer right below us! The pool table was a huge plus, all the adults and teens loved it. The club pool was nice, not too huge but it was never crowded and the view from it was gorgeous. We spent many hours there with the kiddos.
Al and Vince were great hosts. They called a few weeks prior to the trip to share details about the area and see if there was anything we needed. They made sure we had a enough parking for our large family and we’re there to greet us when we arrived.
My only recommendation is some of the furniture could be upgraded. The upstairs bed was pretty squeaky. But everything was still comfortable and great for us.
Overall, it was an amazing family vacation and a nice property with hosts that were very attentive. I recommend!

Wonderful home, Wonderful Hosts!
From the very beginning of our experience with this property, Al and Vince made us feel comfortable. They reached out almost immediately after booking to make themselves available and were great at communicating with us in the days leading up to our stay and while we were there. The house was an excellent fit for our group of 15, and the bunk bedroom is so much fun if you have a bunch of cousins/young kids who want to stay together. If you are looking for a nice house with the best hosts then this house is for you! Overall, I can't recommend this house enough, and I expect my family may be looking to rent it again someday!

This place was so fun! We had a blast playing pool downstairs! My 2 grandkids loved playing pool! This place had everything we needed! Wonderful. Highly recommend and we are going back for a week!

Celebrated my eightieth birthday with my children, their spouses, grandchildren, and 6 month old great grandson.
The house was perfect for all of us. We played games. watched movies, played pool, had some great meals.
