This was my 2nd time renting this property and was excited to spend the holidays with my family in this home after such a great experience in the home back in February. Check in was a breeze and the neighborhood is great. But, we arrived to a very cold home and immediately realized that the HVAC unit was not working. Thermostats had notifications that the furnace wasn't working since October. Not sure who cleans/looks after this house but, they obviously aren't doing a very good job I checked the air filters and they seemed that they had not been changed in years (Took Pictures) and there were also used cups left out in the patio area. Communicated this to the host @ 5:56 pm and never received a reply. I messaged again @ 9:13pm due to the temp inside the house now being @ 58 degrees and dropping and advised host. Replied and said they were working on getting a Tech over to the house and they were looking to buy portable heaters. Neither came and never heard from the host again until Next day @ 1:25pm while we were downtown that a tech was at the house luckily my dad was at the house. Tech wasn't able to fix the heater and never heard from host again about any type of solution and the heater never worked. Also the Stove is still broken from when I stayed in February and the railing to the stair case is also broken as well as stains all over the couches that are in the entrance. This is such a shame as the house has the potential to be amazing in a great location but isn't being kept up with and I will never be staying at this property again.

I really wanted to love this place because I can totally appreciate the artistic aspect of the design, however, there were WAY too many minor problems that could have been easily taken care of before our arrival that would have made a huge difference in my review. Here are the problems we found: no extra blankets/linens for blow up mattress/couch, bistro lights in back yard didn't work, dart board fell out of the wall, light bulbs missing, wall art missing or had fallen down and placed on the floor, only a few drinking glasses, zero wine glasses, kitchen chair cracked on one side, one of the kitchen drawers completely missing, blow up mattress had a hole in it so deflated over night, several of the fire alarms missing (just had wires hanging from hole), broken toilet paper holder upstairs (hanging by 1 screw), towel bar totally missing (no where to hang a towel), no tub drain stopper so can't take a bath, one of the bathroom mirrors is about to fall (hanging on bent screw), green shelf in cactus room about to fall (hanging on with a big tilt), nails poke your foot in entryway when entering Einstein room (needs a proper threshold), microwave has a big burn hole in cabinet beneath it and door hits cabinet when you try to open it, big chunk of broken glass by front door that one of our kids stepped on. This is most of what we noticed in the 2 days we were there. Easy fixes but just feels like the place hasn't been taken care of and needs a lot of TLC. Has so much potention but we were very let down.

Right before arriving the app was not working properly. But the host had excellent communication. The neighborhood is quiet and in an excellent area. Would definitely recommend this property and book again.
