The view was absolutely spectacular and watching Mount Fuji change throughout the day was mesmerising. We chose this accomodation intentionally as it could cater to our toddler with a cot, baby gates and equipped kitchen. The location was close enough to the station and nearby restaurants.
Upon arriving to the property we had to search for the cot, remove all of the extra bedding that was being stored in it and set it up ourselves despite the booking noting a child. The mattress also did not fit the cot and our child found herself stuck between the two quite a few times. The accomodation itself was worn out and not particularly clean. The house had multiple areas of damage including the blinds, the walls and the main TV. The property had a washing machine, which was helpful however had no drying racks aside from a small plastic peg rack which you could not hang anywhere. The bathroom also lacked towel rails and towels had to be hung over the dining room chairs. The wardrobes were also packed with extra bedding and unable to be used by guests, this was also the case in the kitchen with a “junk drawer”. There were also limited instructions in English with no guide available onsite. The wifi also only worked downstairs.
