Stay in a 16-ft. wide, 220 sq. (round) ft. Mongolian yurt with full privacy in old-growth forest near Mt. Shasta, with plenty of peace and quiet and outdoor opportunities to enjoy nature nearby. Your adventures can include: Visit to McCloud River and Upper, Middle, and Lower Falls areas; Mt. Shasta Ski and Snowboard Park; Castle and Siskiyou Lakes; Sacramento River headwaters and recreation sites; towns of McCloud, Mt. Shasta (and mountain access 14 mi. up Everett Memorial Hwy to Bunny Flat and Old Ski Bowl), and Dunsmuir (Hedge Creek Falls, Mossbrae Falls, shops on Dunsmuir Ave.), and much more! Walkable and nicely pruned trails on property allow you to enjoy wilderness setting without the runaround. Yurt has full-size bed and two single beds, toddler bed, wood stove, nearby fire pit with grill, solar USB charging station, and nearby non-potable water tank, outdoor shower and composting toilet.

This was the most amazing and spectacular get away my wife and I have ever been on. Chris was amazing, so friendly and easy to be around as well as smart and well spoken. If I could have this guy as my neighbor i would move in tomorrow. The place is peaceful and tranquil and I wouldn’t have gone anywhere else. We will definitely be back and will remain friends with this one of a kind person.
