About this house rental
Lemon Bay Hideaway is a 3/2 single-family home with a spectacular view of Lemon Bay in Englewood, Florida. Here you will discover some of the best fishing our country has to offer. The pass to the Gulf of America is only a 5 minute boat ride, accessible right from the boat dock, just steps from the backdoor. Beautiful beaches are only a 5 minute car ride, or a 3 minute boat ride, whichever you prefer! The quaint little town also offers golfing, water sports, boutique shops, fine dining, and more. Our home sits on Lemon Bay and has all you need for both an exciting and relaxing vacation. The views are stunning with dolphins and manatees swimming the waters just steps from the poolside deck. The boat dock is conveniently available for your boat, should you bring one or rent one from one of the many marina's in the area. There is one lift available for your use that will lift a 7,000 lb boat (or less). The lift is NOT set up for a pontoon. There is plenty of parking for your trucks and boat trailer, and plenty of beds. The home sleeps 8 people comfortably (2 kings, 1 queen sleeper, 2 twins).

Perfect, quiet waterfront home! Our kids lived in the pool and loved watching for dolphins and all the birds! We even saw some flying flamingos! Everything was clean and as described.

Two families of four stayed for a week comfortably. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed. The kitchen had a large amount of cabinet space for all our food. The girls stayed in the heated pool and the boys stayed on the dock fishing. They caught lots of fish. The place was very clean and comfortable. Everything has been remodeled recently. We loved sitting in the lanai every morning with coffee and in the evening with cocktails. The host was very kind and quick to respond. We hope to stay here again.

The property is in a great location if you are bringing a boat with you. It is a very short ride to Stump Pass and to nearby waterfront restaurants. We did experience issues with the breaker flipping when using the boat lift which was unfortunate. The house is in very nice condition and was clean upon arrival. The house is also stocked with plenty of linens, towels, spices and kitchenware. The host was very communicative prior to our stay but once we arrived, we tried to reach her on the Vrbo app and did not receive a response about heating the pool during the chilly weather. I recommend texting her directly during your stay.

We had a fabulous week. The house was perfect, clean, and offered everything you needed to enjoy the area. This was our first trip as a family to this area and we will back for sure.
