Surrounding Area: Just 2.5 hours from NYC and 3 hours from Boston, the cabin is a 3-minute drive from downtown Windham, NY where you can enjoy great bars and restaurants in “The Gem of the Catskills”. Our personal favorite is Millrock for their fresh-caught fish and brick oven pizzas! The property is located right in the middle of the Catskills where you can enjoy hiking, skiing, mountain biking, fishing, ATVing, archery, snowshoeing, and a host of other outdoor activities. If skiing or snowboarding is your thing, we’re less than 20 minutes from two great ski resorts (Windham & Hunter) and 45 minutes from Belleayre. All guests who book will be emailed our complimentary guide to the area including restaurants, bars, hikes, and other things to do. We live here in the off-season, and store our personal belongings in the space above the garage, hence the locked door. Don't worry you're not missing out on our hoards of family photos :) Guests will be able to check themselves in with a wifi-enabled keypad, the code is changed after each stay! We are situated on a private lane with 2 other homes, we rarely see our neighbors beyond driving in. We are located through the log arch at the end of the long driveway. We are located on a private lane, and 3 min from Downtown Windham. There's no public transportation or Uber within the city, we will provide you with the local Taxi number when you arrive.
