This is a gorgeous property inside and out. We especially appreciated the frequent visits by the local wildlife. There was a welcoming committee of 4 deer when I first arrived. The next morning there were 6. Each time they were spotted everyone ran to that window for pictures. Everyone enjoyed gathering around the cozy wood stove while watching a movie on Netflix. The ping-pong table was also great fun. Grandpa ruthlessly defended his championship of Port Carling against all challengers! The road to the cottage was very scenic with lots of hills. We found it perfect for a quiet morning walk after coffee. In the wintertime 4 wheel drive will provide a little extra security as the road is snow covered most of the time. The home is tastefully decorated with traditional Muskoka themes, including paddles, snowshoes, and lots of deer. The large portrait of a winter buck in the upstairs living room is absolutely stunning! We all had a wonderful time gathering our family in this beautiful home. Thank you Niki for a marvelous Muskoka winter vacation!

We had a fantastic time, the cottage was prefect for our large family of 8 and nicely secluded. The views were incredible and the cottage was nicely equipped for all our needs. Nikki, the host, was amazing to deal with and made our stay every enjoyable. Saw a lot of deer and wild Turkeys

The lady celebrating the eighth anniversary of her tenth birthday did NOT want a large party. She simply wanted her children and their spouses to join her for a relaxing weekend. This cottage was perfect! It offered plenty of space for the family, was well-equipped, has a gorgeous view and has the Muskoka ambience that we were seeking. We were not looking for an ultra-modern space-age structure, but wanted a cottage that rekindled memories of vacations in Muskoka in bygone days. This property ticked all the boxes. We would love to return here sometime in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. With 7 adults there was plenty of space to either be together or find a spot for quite time. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated with a large kitchen that was well equipped. The owner was amazing to deal with. She provided us with a lot of information prior to our arrival and an opportunity to ask questions. Any additional questions were promptly answered. I would highly recommend staying at this property. Thanks Niki.
