The green lawn invites you to a front-row seat to the ocean with spectacular views from the living and dining rooms' levels and your private dune-top seating. The house is comfortably designed to give you an open feeling on the family level with your family and friends, yet allows you to find your private, quiet areas all over the house. The artwork throughout captures your eye. Welcome to Sand Goodies; you won't want to leave. Ground Level: Lounge on the pool deck and relax to music on the outside speakers. Enter the home from the pool area into the rec room with a full-size pool table, TV/CD/Stereo, and refrigerator. There is also a nicely decorated private den with a sofa bed, TV/DVD, and a Duobunk. Mid Level: Has 2 King main bedrooms with whirlpools. A room with 2 Singles with Trundles and a room with 2 Bunk sets share a bathroom. The hot tub is on a secluded deck between the ground and mid-level. Top Level: Features an open, airy great room with TV/VCR/DVD and sweeping ocean views. The kitchen has 2 dishwashers and a large pantry. The nicely furnished living area has a gas fireplace and an elevated sunroom with extra seating and great views. There is also a King main bedroom with a whirlpool. Amenities: Private 16' x 40' unheated Pool, Hot Tub, Gas Fireplace, WiFi, 6 TV, 3 DVD, CD/Stereo, Outside Speakers, Videos/Games, 2 Refrigerators, 2 Dishwashers, 3 Whirlpool Tubs, Baby Items: Pack'n Play & High Chair, Pool Table, 2 Porch Swings, Fish/Shell Cleaning Station. Two Outdoor Pools (1 Oceanfront w/ Restrooms/Showers/Locker Room.), Tennis Courts, Basketball & Volleyball Courts, Playground, Racquet & Fitness Center, Walking/Biking Trails, and Audubon Sanctuary & Center. THINGS TO KNOW For January and February bookings, please contact the property management company to ensure the hot tub is available. This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically. Fireplaces are available from November 1st through April 1st. The pool is open from the end of April through mid-October. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Was very impressed with how the house was actually what was advertised. We went in late Feb, early March and due to that, the beech was basically just me and my wife. Great access to beech. Vacasa who manages the house was extremely good at communication. Worth the rental!

We came to OBX for my nephews wedding (at Black Stallion). We chose your house for my husband & kids (21, 23) and my sister's family. We have come to OBX nearly every summer since 1999 and this is the first Oceanfront house we have stayed in. I may never go back to a non-oceanfront house! Your house is beautiful, well-stocked. Only negative I believe was that all doors except the front door wouldn't lock (deadbolts broken). Overall a great stay at a great price (winter OBX prices are GREAT compared to summer prices). Thank you!

The good: The house itself is very big with lots of room to spread out. We especially appreciated all of the little nooks where folks could get away for some time to themselves. The pool was a large size and the beach was very accessible. The kitchen was updated and well stocked.
The hot tub was nice and also clean. We also really appreciated that there were sheets and bath towels and check-out procedures were limited.
The not as good: This place is "well-loved" and not in pristine condition We kind of assumed that given the price relative to other similar units, but that included a deck that had seen better days, lots of visible rust, lots of stains on the carpet, fridge that was a little bit on the fritz, squeaky bunkbeds, outdated bathrooms, etc.
All in all, we would stay here again, but would only recommend for those that are okay with imperfections and looking for a large place at a bit of discount.

Highly recommend. We had a fantastic winter week there. I am a chef and was delighted by the tools in the kitchen. The views are amazing . We, too , saw dolphins from the deck. The place was clean and the management team was responsive.

Lovely home had a fun time with kids. However, none of the doors locked. There was trash stuffed under the beds and hair on the beds and a few other issues. I didn’t want to have to leave a bad review because it was nice, however after being promised by multiple people on the management team that I’d get a call back (never did) and a compensation (never did) I got told one story after another and everytime I called it was different. So unfortunately it wasn’t the greatest and was not compensated for anything. I had small children with me and none of the doors locking is a SERIOUS safety concern. They refused to refund me anything because I didn’t immediately call when I couldn’t find the number and my phone had died and I left my charger at home. But I did call as soon as I got home and I guess apparently it wasn’t good enough. Don’t rent from this company. There’s nice houses elsewhere too.

The oceanfront home was amazing. The kitchen had everything that you could ask for from coffee makers and crockpots and plenty of dishes and pots and pans. The only issue we had was the washer if you used the laundry pods they did not disintegrate and could cause stains on clothes and towels so if wanting to wash clothes I would maybe not use the laundry pods. The walkway to the beach is a little tricky and the steps coming from the pool up to the walkway to beach could maybe be fixed. The pool was huge and great. We had a wonderful time and would stay again.

It was clean and we love being on the beach. Kitchen layout was nice. The King sized mattresses were very uncomfortable. They need to be replaced. Also (and I am sure this will be fixed) there is a broken step leading to the beach which was dangerous.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We had a fantastic winter week on the beach. Clean and fully furnished with everything we needed. Hot tub was a bonus and easy access to the beach that we enjoyed daily! Enjoyed watching the dolphins and sunrises from the top balcony!

The house was perfect and accommodating for our family. Disappointed in how you reserve for the next season. I have been doing this for 40 some years always had the opportunity to rent for the next year for the same week before it opened to the public I find out this is not how you do your next renting. Extremely upset and disappointed!

We had some issues but found the Vacasa response in fixing them was excellent - prompt and competent. They fixed an off-track shower door, a breaker on the hot tub, two outside doors that would not close properly, and more. The technician showed up quickly - about an hour - after our text message requesting help... and knew what he was doing.

We would stay at this property again - it exceeded our expectations. The location could not be beat! Amazing views, steps from a beach that you have to yourself. Plenty of sand chairs and some boogie boards. Could use some beach umbrellas. The pool was huge and well-kept. Had an issue with a smoke alarm that went off randomly and someone came out to fix it within 30 minutes of my call. The kitchen is well stocked. The only thing I could have used was some food storage containers so bring some with you. The house was beautiful and had plenty of seating. The only negatives about the house was the mildew smell (quite strong) in the lower level that could probably be remedied by removing the carpeting. The master beds were very comfortable but the smaller beds were not - everyone complained about aches and pains in the morning. Also the listing said only blankets and sheets provided so that caused some panic by those who didn't bring pillows (there were plenty of pillows in every bedroom so maybe add that to the listing). We would absolutely book this house again - we enjoyed our stay!

The gas grill only has 2 working burners. We bought a grill. We replaced the batteries, unstopped the tub. The listing is listed as 3 kings, 1 double, 9twins, sofa bed. I wouldn’t call the extra large twin on a bottom bunk a double. And we had to go to Spectrum and get a new router so we could have Wi-Fi..

The house is definitely dated and needs some love in the upkeep and fixtures, but the access to the beach and the amazing view makes up for any maintenance issues. It's so old and crusty that it can barely get up to 275 degrees on full blast - not safe a safe temperature to grill at and will take an hour to cook anything. We had to abandon our first meal on the grill and finish it on the stove top.

The upper level is terrific with lots of windows and great views of the water. Rating the house a 4/5 because some additional cleaning is needed. The lower levels smelled like wet dogs despite dogs not allowed. The house needs a good dusting. The outdoor pool area was in need of a quick cleaning. But overall we were happy. We bought some air freshener. Hosed down the pollen around the pool. And enjoyed one week watching the beautiful scenery. Would recommend just bring some air freshner
