About this bed and breakfast
Book-lined shelves and an antique oak desk and lamp distinguish this first floor room. It has a view of oaks, flowers and greenery, and a door leading outside. There is a comfortable seating area and a queen bed with a handicapped accessible bath. Pet-friendly room, $25 pet fee. Breakfast included.

Your visit to Oak Grove Plantation starts with a glass of lemonade or iced tea served leisurely on our front porch overlooking 400 acres full of Southern pines, oaks and teeming with wildlife…crickets, birds, frogs, box turtles and an occasional fox.
After you are shown your room, you will be given a leisurely tour of the innkeeper’s ancestral home, including 48 solar panels and the electric car charger. After the tour, you will have plenty of time to see Civil War and Revolutionary War landmarks, car racing venues, antique shops, lakes and museums. In the evening, we’ll direct you to some of the area’s fine restaurants, not far from the Bed & Breakfast.
After a refreshing night’s sleep in one of the three guest rooms, you’ll awaken to the smell of our specialties such as Cluster Springs Egg Puff, Lemon Souffle Pancakes, homemade biscuits or muffins and coffee or other delicious choices in the Victorian dining room, with the sun shining in through the full-length bay windows.
Free parking and wi-fi.

This B&B is set in a quiet, peaceful location. Room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for two. We enjoyed walking the well-maintained trails on the property. Innkeepers are friendly and serve a delicious breakfast!

Oak Grove Plantation is a lovely old home nestled in the countryside not far from a main highway but quiet, peaceful and restful. Although the weather prevented breakfast on the veranda, it was a treat nonetheless. Great care was given to every item that I was served from the freshest of fruits to the wonderful selection of homemade breads and lighter than air lemon soufflé pancakes! My room’ s appointments were very attractive and comfortable including plenty of electrical outlets and hot water. I plan to return here when I am visiting in Halifax County.
