This place is amazing. We love older buildings especially those that are kept up to as close to original as possible. It was clean, fresh and very well decorated. The owners are very nice. We enjoyed talking to them. The area felt very safe.
The guest stairway (original to the building obviously) was a challenge to an almost 80-year-old. However, it was worth the effort. Not much could be done to remedy that without taking away from the building. We were warned about the stairs prior to booking so we knew what to expect.

The space was large and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The owners of the house are very nice. As a bonus to cat lovers, there is a very friendly resident kitty that will visit with you.
The only complaint I have is that the room and linens were heavily scented which made my head hurt and made it hard to get to sleep. Strong smells can be bothersome to some people and I am definitely one of them.

Everything was perfect. We loved our stay there. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Loved my bagel and cream cheese for breakfast. My husband enjoyed cereal and bananas. Great choices of coffees & creamers. Snacks of every kind! All the toiletries you would need. The big front porch was inviting and comfortable. Kim and Dan are wonderful people and they have thought of everything to make this your home away from home. We will definitely be back and I can't wait. Didn't want to leave!

Very generous provision of foodstuffs, coffee, juice and so on. In practice worked as a bed and breakfast!
No issues. It is true that people who can't climb a steep stair would have problems, but that's not us, yet.
