About this cabin rental
The cabin was relocated here back in 1999 from Virginia where it was originally built. It is a true early settlers cabin. Combined space loft and main floor is 600sqt/ft. Each log is well over 150 years old. It has a kitchen with 4 eye cook top, convection oven/microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, living room, bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and shower combined. A loft bedroom accessed by a spiral staircase. This staircase is narrrow and dogs will have to be helped or carried up. Space would not allow a larger staircase. The loft is equipped with a queen size and a full size bed and rough pine furniture. The laundry room is located left on the back porch area it has both a washer and dryer. There is a front porch with two rocking chairs and a back porch with an outdoor grill. Both porches have winter time views of the mountains. The setting is trees and mountains all around with views up and down the .5 mile driveway. To sit in the cabin recliner and breath in what it must have been like for early settlers is a truly unique feel. A motion light with camera has been added to the entry to provide lighting and safety when entering and exiting and it will record when motion activated. WIFI High speed, Pots and pans, silverware plates, bowls, coffee cups, a wine opener, and can opener are also provided. A Keurig coffee maker and k cups are provided . If anything else is needed please txt or call me. I will respond promptly to your questions or requests. Pets are welcome here at the cabin. The driveway is a wide one lane that leads to the cabin, and there is virtually no traffic except the occasional vehicle. The cabin is also located on a private drive.

This is an amazing property. The hosts were amazing and friendly as well. They were even patient with all of my questions. Responses were quick and thorough. Location was perfect, and surroundings were peaceful. I will not hesitate to stay again. Thank You for your hospitality!

The cabin is adorable and clean, but the layout is not conducive with the oversized furnishings (and no room to get around them) and the very narrow spiral staircase that really poses a hazard. I'm 5'5", 170lbs, and I barely fit. We left just hours after we checked in because I was afraid that our dog (47lb and med.-sized) would injure herself trying to get to us upstairs. It is really not suitable for dogs or people with small children.
