About this condo rental
Spacious modern condo with great views of Banderas Bay on the Pacific Ocean and the Village of Puerto Vallarta down below, and the mountains rising up behind. To take advantage of the views, we have a balcony on each end of our condo and a very large rooftop observation deck. Our shared amenities include 2 swimming pools, a hot tub, and a fitness center for your enjoyment. The condo has 2 bedrooms and a separate den to sleep 6 people privately, and a sleeper sofa in the living room which can sleep 2 more people for a total of 8. It has 2 full bathrooms, large living room/dining room/kitchen. It also has a dishwasher, our own free clothes washer/dryer in the condo, an elevator, and a free reserved indoor parking spot. It is a security building that requires key access to the condo, amenities, and parking garage. We are located on the corner of Panama and Costa Rica in the 5 de Diciembre district of Puerto Vallarta, about 7 blocks from the Malecon and popular Playa Camarones beach. There are many restaurants and at least one grocery store nearby. We offer a "10% returning guest discount" for people who have left our condo in good condition, in addition to the following discounts off our nightly rate. (Put in your dates and Vrbo will calculate the below discounts automatically.) ~ weekly discount ~ monthly discount ~ mid-season/off-season discounts Although the condo owner (Kevin) speaks only English, we have a local Mexican property manager (Jesus) who speaks both Spanish and English. We are very friendly and available 24/7 to answer questions and help with any issues you may have (before/during/after your stay).

It was great! My two adult sons and their 2 roommates joined me on this trip to PV.
The condo was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The location is fantastic and the views are spectacular.
We had a car but choose to walk to the Malecon and when we needed to just run to the corner store.
The only drawback I can see is the last 2 blocks are rather steep, but kids are 25 yr old, I’m in my 60’s and we enjoyed the excercise. The owner provided great directions for traversing those 2 blocks in the car, so it was not a problem.
Already looking at dates to visit again in the next a few months.

Place was quite large and well laid out for use. Individual A/C's in rooms worked well. Had some issues with linens and owner was responsive to getting resolved timely. Pool area was in building next door and was very nice. Is on top of very steep hill so lots of exercise if you walk. If not, Uber is very convenient and quite cheap. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We had a great time and really enjoyed our 2 week stay. (In total we rented 3 units) The condos were all in a great location and clean. The staff was very accommodating and replied promptly. We received great food recommendations from other condo owners and they were very welcoming. The pool was refreshing. The condos are up on a hill, the walk down isn’t too bad. The walk up was tough for a few of my family members so we frequently used Uber or taxis. For those that like a light exercise it’s a great spot. With that said, being on the hill provided great views of the ocean and city. We would recommend this condo and would absolutely return for another visit.

We had a great time! The unit was very comfortable and we enjoyed 5 weeks there. Kevin is very personal and helpful.
If something was out of his control as an owner, he went the extra mile to make it right. (work being done at the condo building)

Great stay, clean, comfortable and quiet. Neighborhood was relatively safe. What you see if what you get, the pictures does not do justice to the amazing view up on the terrace. Friendly building manager made check in and check out process smooth. Will stay here again.
The building is up on a steep hill, so bring your walking shoes. But overall, great place to stay.

We loved our stay at this property. Great place for our family of 7. Great view, kids loved the pool, and really enjoyed exploring the area. Host Kevin was very attentive and check in was easy. Would stay here again!

The condo was comfortable, clean and exactly as advertised. We spent a little time at the pool and on the rooftop deck. Both were very nice. The wifi, washer/dryer, and air conditioning were good perks. The walk up the hills was a challenge but definitely good exercise.

Our family had a great stay at Kevin's place at Los Altos!
The condo has lots of room and everything you could need.
Communication was great with the owner and check in was easy.
The cinco de diciembre neighborhood is our favorite place to stay in PV.
Lots of affordable restaurants and Leys grocery store close by.
It also has a nice heated pool and a great view.
We hope to be back!

We had an excellent stay!! We were within walking distance of almost everything, excellent restaurants, grocery stores, vegetable/meat/seafood market, the Malecon and the beach. The condo was well equipped and had a water purifier. The bed in the den was good for kids, but not for adults. We'll come back!!

Condo was spacious and fully equipped. Access to terrace and pool which was nice. Walking distance to supermarket, beach and restaurants. The walk up to the condo can be tiresome but can be solved by hiring a taxi or Uber.
Excellent communication with owner and property manager. I would definitely recommend and stay here again. Really enjoyed our stay!

beautiful town and condo
the condo is beautiful. The owner was easy to respond with us. the last long block was steep. but the location more than made up for that. Nice pool area. just a great place to stay.

The condo and complex was perfect for us. We loved the calm area and proximity to downtown and the malecón. Kevin is an awesome host with great communication. The house is very well equipped with dishes and towels and extra bedding, even beach chairs and shade umbrella. The pool and jacuzzi in the second building are awesome after a long day of exploring. We would rent again definitely!

Comfort and view
The condo is clean, spacious, fully equipped. We enjoyed having a full kitchen, laundry room and a balcony with an amazing view. The gym is small but enough for a great workout, we used it every day. The roof top is wonderful, we watched the sunset from there a few times. It is truly spectacular. The condo is located on top of a hill. Actually if you don't know, as we didn't either, Colonia 5 de Diciembre is all hills, very steep covered with rough cobble stones. One side of the street might have stairs. So walking back to the apartment is a great workout. We did it at least twice a day. Kevin was very clear with communication on all details needed to find the place and check in. Would definitely stay again!!

Opportunities: reduce some roosters in the neighborhood, non stop from 4:30 am until dark, we ciounted at least 8 across the street…I suppose that’s Mexico for ya. Couch is a bit dirty and could use a new cover, we put a bed sheet o. It and was fine after that. Bed in the main bedroom is very uncomfortable and was unsleepable for us, we moved to the back room which has a better bed and less rooster noise.
Walking to and from is good if you’re fit and looking for exercise but if you can’t handle hills you will be calling for a car a lot to get you around, it is quite a walk up to the property.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, with a few minor touches (bed, couch cover) the property would be decent value for your money.

If you're faint of heart, don't worry about the uphill walk, every taxi and InDriver will drop you off at the front door, don't worry.
