Centrally located, this gorgeous home away from home is the perfect retreat for a family vacation or an escapade with friends. The first and main level of the home features a convenient open floor plan made up of the kitchen, living room, and dining area. Let your friends relax and plan your next adventures in the living room while you surprise them with a delicious homemade meal straight out of a cooking book. The kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter space, and spacious wood cabinets to store your goodies and groceries. The dining table seats up to eight people, but if you're in need of more space, the kitchen island adds three more spaces. However, there's always the option of dining al fresco at the outdoor dining area on the balcony. Six ceiling fans throughout the home and central air conditioning will keep you and your friends nice and cool during your stay no matter what, but if the warm days in Dauphin Island are getting the best of you, pack your sunscreen and beach towel and head over to the shared outdoor pool for a refreshing splash after lunch. This level also features the main bedroom with a king bed, an en-suite full bathroom, and a half bathroom. As you climb up the stairs to the upper level of the home, you'll come across the other three bedrooms, each one with a queen bed. There's one en-suite bathroom and another full bathroom. What's nearby: The beach! Hernando Beach is a short one-third-of-a-mile walk away from your doorstep - it's the ideal place to sunbathe, relax, beachcomb, and enjoy the refreshing ocean water. Downtown Dauphin Island is one and a half miles north offering endless dining options, mini golf at Island Golf, Indian Shell Mound Park, convenience stores, and more! Explore and learn more about the habitats of coastal Alabama at The Estuarium at Dauphin Island Sea Lab. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. This property had so many pluses, beautiful home with everything we needed as far as space and amenities. We had a problem with the plumbing when we first arrived but Vacasa was "Johnny on the Spot" to fix it. Also, cell and internet is a bit in and out on Dauphin Island, but we were able to watch Christmas movies with the giant TV.

Loved the amount of space, the screened porch, the swings, the outdoor shower, the flooring and decor, and the peacefulness of the neighborhood! Short walk to the pool and beach! Thank you for a great “home away from home”!

House was was perfectly cleaned and stocked with plenty on linens and kitchen supplies. Great spaces to hang out with friends and family. We loved the under porch area and really appreciated the outdoor shower. The pool and beach were just a short 5 minute walk! Would absolutely stay there again!!

The house is large and in a wonderful gated community. The beach is so close, and the community has a pool. With small grandchildren, we knew we needed a pool and a beach. The house has many items in the storage area, that made the beach experience so much easier. Two collapsible wagons, several bikes, beach toys, beach umbrellas were all items we used at the beach. There is a corn hole game to play at the house, a few card games, puzzles, and books. We really appreciated the private beach and boardwalk. It seems hard to get groceries on Dauphin Island, so we suggest purchasing groceries before you head to the island.

This was the absolute best vacation rental that we’ve ever stayed in! It was very nicely updated and finished very nicely. The space was great and had everything we could need or want for a great week at the beach. There were a couple of dining room chairs that were broken but it looked like someone had tried to fix them and we left a note on the frig for the caretakers to make them aware of it. However that was not an issue and we loved every minute of our stay there. We would absolutely rent this house again. It was upscale and fantastic. New appliances, great kitchen, excellent master suite, fantastic bedrooms and comfy mattresses! Highest recommendation possible! My very favorite vacation rental of all time, and I have stayed in quite a few of them! Great job everyone!

We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect house for vacation! Plenty of space for 6 adults, a 4 year old, 2 year old, and a 6 month old.. with room to spare! The house is in a private gated community. Great location to a beautiful beach that was in no way crowded, even over the 4th of July! The house comes very well stocked! We would definitely rent again when coming down to Dauphin Island!
