SURVIVOR HAS IT ALL!!!! “Survivor” appropriately named for its ability to withstand a devastating hurricane has all the comforts of home and more! With five bedrooms and three baths this luxurious beach retreat easily sleeps 14 in its 2,880 ft. of living space! Survivor is perfect for a quiet family vacation, multi-family trips, and even has enough room for the in-laws! Survivor boasts a GREAT kitchen, plenty of space to relax, 2,000 ft. of enormous deck space, beautiful sunsets, and a large beach to enjoy! Survivor is located directly ON THE WATER! The calm and relaxing Mississippi Sound is only footsteps away from the back of the house and the more active Gulf of Mexico just several hundred feet from the front of the house. You really get the best of both worlds with Survivor! Most prefer the backyard beach with its white sandy beaches, calm, cool, and shallow waters! It’s perfect for families with kids and is ideal for swimming and relaxing without having to worry about strong currents, waves, or rip tides. There is a small wetland pond occasionally refreshed by the high tides ideal for catching bait! You can even beach a small boat or Jet Ski right in your own back yard! However if you are in the mood for more active water simply walk across the street to the Gulf side and boogie board, skim board, or body surf in the Gulf of Mexico’s mighty waves! Survivor features a spacious living room with 12’ ceilings, flat screen TV's, DVD's, surround sound, stereo system, and gas fireplace serves as the perfect place to entertain large crowds, view the remarkable sunset, or simply relax with the family. Finding somewhere to sit and eat won’t be a problem in Survivor, there is a custom built dining table that seats ten and bar seats four! Renters love the kitchen! Our fully loaded kitchen houses coffee maker, toaster, blender, microwave, oven, flat surface stove, assorted pots and pans, silver wear, walk in pantry, dishwasher, plates, cups, and many more! Five spacious bedrooms serve as the perfect place to for crash for the night and lounge about in the morning. Upstairs bedrooms are equipped with deluxe bedding, large walk in closets, TV, and plenty of space to blow up an airbed or set up a cot! The two master bedrooms have access to the upper deck perfect for watching the sunrise or set. Each upstairs bath has its own coffee maker, no need to worry about waking up anyone downstairs!!! Jack and Jill bathrooms connect the four bedrooms upstairs, with an exquisite inside Jacuzzi on one side! 2,000 sq. ft. of deck space encompasses the back of the house. The decks are partially shaded for relaxing and lounging and the other part is ideal for sunning, viewing sunsets, grilling out, and tanning. Partially shaded deck features a large outside dining table perfect for eating dinner outside. Back decks feature lounge chairs, and charcoal and gas grills! Downstairs features a storage room perfect for storing sand toys and beach chairs, umbrellas, and ice chests. Ice machine located in the storage room, along hammock, and assorted beach toys! Outdoor shower located underneath the house ideal for washing off sandy feet! Boardwalk leads from outdoor shower to back stairs. Comfy wood swing is also located downstairs! Parking for cars under the shade of the house.

We had so much room. We were impressed that the house was well stocked kitchen, utensils bathrooms had plenty of towels and beach towels, humongous ice maker and overflow of beach toys. The owner helped us with every tiny problem. We had to leave 2 days early because of a death. We were well pleased!

We had a great time during our stay at this property. The bedroom set up is spacious and worked well for us, along with the large dining room table which hosted may laughs! The location on the Sounds Side was perfect for our family with 2 younger children. Location is great for also walking a short distance to access the gulf side of the island. The beach toys and umbrella were a fantastic and appreciated extra! We had a really wonderful stay and made a lifetime of memories for my family. Thank you!

We had a fun week at Survivor. The house was very clean and had plenty of room for our two families to spread out. The kids loved playing on the gulf side beach which was only a very short 2 or 3 minute walk away and really loved crabbing on the bay beach where by far the biggest crabs were found. The beach wagon was especially helpful in dragging all their stuff to the gulf beach and the ice maker was a big plus. We didn’t cook much so can’t really comment about cooking equipment. The location is great. There is very little traffic on the road and by being midway down the island everything we needed was quick to drive to. Carol was very responsive and helpful the two times I called with a question.

We found this property to be perfect for our vacation. It was spacious, in a good location for both the Gulf and the Bay, and the beach wagon with umbrella, chairs and toys were appreciated. Carol responded to all my emails quickly.

We stayed from June 24-July 8th. The house was perfect. The bay behind the house was absolutely perfect. Very short walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to relax and enjoy some family time. Ed and Carol were very responsive and cooperative. Quick to respond with any questions we had.

The house was even more than we anticipated! It was bigger than we thought itbwould be and had everything we could have possibly needed! We could have left all chairs, beach towels, wagons, and so much at home because they had it for us! The awesome ice machine was perfect!! The hosts were fantastic. They responded very quickly to our questions and even offered to bring things to us if we needed them. We sure hope to stay in this particular home the next time we go back to Dauphin Island!

Wonderful House!
We stayed at the Survivor house for our annual wives weekend. The house was absolutely wonderful, and we enjoyed every minute. It was very clean, and had more than enough space for everyone. Beautiful property and home with everything you need. Our extended family came together for a few days and this house had everything we needed, and more. The ‘pond’ on the bay was the favorite of the kids, and the adults loved the ability to be close to the house when it was time to head back.

We have a house in the island but needed a larger place to celebrate my grandmother turning 100! The house was perfect ! The views were spectacular. The bay and the title pool provided many hours of enjoyment even though it was a chilly weekend!

This wonderful home has it all. We have never stayed at a home so well stocked with kitchen supplies, beach towels, beach toys/chairs, etc. The beach wagon was a life saver! We really could have packed much less. The home was spacious and so comfortable. We loved it!

My husband and I, our grown children and grandchildren had a wonderful, relaxing week at Survivor! The layout of beds and baths worked well for our family of 12. We spent lots of time hanging out on the large back deck, where you can view both sunrise and sunset The house was well stocked with kitchen items, linens and beach accessories. The cart to transport beach gear and large ice machine were highly appreciated. It had everything we needed. The bay side was very shallow with minimal waves, which was perfect for relaxing on a raft or for the children to play and look for crabs. On the gulf side, there were more waves and beach to play in the sand. Best of both worlds! The owner was very pleasant and responsive. I would highly recommend!
