About this house rental
Located in Town Bank, this lovely house for $225 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Iconic bay cottage located in Townbank. 2 BR/1 BA home, sleeping 4. Only a few short blocks back from the bay, famous for its amazing sunsets. Home offers a screened in front porch, open air back deck, fully fenced back yard and enclosed outdoor shower. Open year round for enjoyment in the peak and off season. Awning for back porch will be up for summer renals. $150 cleaning fee. Owner will consider renting to tenants with one dog for additional fee. Owner has the right to limit size and breed of dog. Blankets and pillows are provided. Tenants are responsible for sheets and towels. All VRBO bookings will be required to sign a lease provided by deSatnick Real Estate, Broker of Record. All terms in the lease are binding. Great property in a convenient location. Very clean, and had basically everything I needed (except sheets and towels, but they tell you that upfront). I will plan to come back next summer!

Some suggestions: turn on air for guests prior to arrival…. The air conditioning unit is old and should be updated. The beach wagon is broken and had we known we would have brought our own. And we were told we didn’t need to bring blankets but the blankets in the master bedroom has stains all over them. We would have brought our own had we known.

Nice and close to a beautiful swimming beach. House had everything you needed.
Just a late check in at 4p and early check out at 10am was a bit disappointing.

This cottage had every single thing we needed. Everything was sparkling clean when we checked in. The property is managed by a local real estate agent, so easy to solve any issues if they arise. The area isn't Cape May proper, but the neighborhood is quiet and easily accessible to the boardwalk and the beach side. The bay side of the beach is walkable. Our 10 y.o. preferred the beach side in Cape May for the waves, but it was an easy 15 minute drive and parking a breeze. The owners also provide seasonal passes you can use. The screened in porch is a delight and the outdoor shower is an absolute necessity. I wouldn't rent a property that doesn't have one. As for the other review that mentions ants, we saw a few but really not a bother at all.

We loved the property, very quiet street. We only ate breakfast in the house, went out for dinner. However, every day I had to use ant spray (owner provided) on all the counters in the kitchen. We never left food out, but there were at least a dozen a day to kill. Didn't use toaster, or Microwave only the coffee pot. Don't know where they came from, but glad I never had to Prep any food!

The neighborhood has lots of mature trees which creates a camp like feel to it with the cottages. It's the best of both worlds - woods and water be it bay or ocean. Our dogs were very comfortable there. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. There are a few things needed to make it more senior friendly such as a hand rail at the front porch entrance, a non slip bath mat and removal any tripping hazards ie rugs with curling up edges. Please note that the ocean is better to swim in but the bay is pleasant. This is the home environment of horseshoe crabs so please expect to see them. Enjoy!!

The bay is a nice 3 block walk and at the beach entrance is a bench, great for watching the sunsets or dusting the sand off your feet. The neighborhood has lots of mature trees which creates a camp like feel to it with the cottages. It's the best of both worlds - woods and water be it bay or ocean. Great find in Town Bank
Great home within walking distance to the bay with a great beach and a few minutes drive to Cape May center. Very relaxing in a quiet neighborhood.
