Overall a great experience. Home was clean and essentials provided. Exceptionally well stocked with anything you would need. Very comfortable beds. We loved the poarch. Probably spent more time thwre than anywhere else. Immediate neighborhood is great. Brunswick could take a page out of other historic districts and do alot more with the area but the very short trips to Jekyl and St Simons Islands is great. Also be very cautious about taking a cruise on the Emerald Princess. Absolutely horrible experience. Cant thank the homeowners enough for a great memory.

House was gorgeous and everything we wanted for our family vacation!

Ive always wanted to stay at a historic home and finally got to. The house was so clean and organized. The beds were very comfortable. They had literally everything you could need for cooking or cleaning up. I was just in awe of the history and the gorgeous floors. There were 4 of us and plenty of room. It was only an hour from savannah too. The shell station 6 minutes from here had every peach and pickled thing you could ever want as a souvenir too. It was a convenience store connected to a shell just so yall know where to go. In all this house/ trip was worth the 10.5 hour drive especially to just relax on that porch at night.

We loved the property. The home is well maintained in the historic district of Brunswick and staying there was like stepping back in time. The home was very well equipped and had everything that we needed. We had a couple of questions while we were there and had no problem reaching Kevin to get an answer. We would definately stay again if we're in the area in the future and would highly recommend it.

I'm an avid traveller and this was by far this was the best home share experience I've ever had. My friends and I absolutely LOVED this house. The house was gorgeous, the beds were comfortable, everything was super clean, and there was plenty of space. We enjoyed it so much that we actually forefit some beach time in lieu of enjoying the porch. I hope to stay here again on my next trip.

We were visiting a friend in Brunswick and this home was perfect for our lodging needs. We were within 3 driving minutes of everywhere we needed to be. The home is spacious and cozy. Not all the bedrooms have TVs so if you have avid TV watcher, choose rooms wisely. Only other drawback was, the upstairs shower/tub was a bit clogged, so the water did not drain out as you showered. But not a big deal.

Beautiful property with loads of character. Well maintained and well appointed. Great neighborhood full of equally nice homes. Quiet and within easy walking distance to town.

A great place in which to escape winter's wrath; an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen with good quality utensils, pots/pans, and small appliances; comfortable beds; a porch that invites sitting for a while; proximity to St. Simons and Jekyll Islands and the Brunswick Historic District.

Over all, my family enjoyed this beautiful home and the southern roomy porch is a bonus. The home is well stocked and very clean. It has everything you'll need to be comfortable. The. host is available and responsive.
Brunswick is a good place to visit with historical tourist attractions and restaurants but as a side note you'll need to be aware that many of the streets surrounding the neighborhood are old and impoverished.

We absolutely loved the house and all the added touches! All the bedrooms were large and clean. The stained glass windows are beautiful. We loved everything about the house. It was perfect!

This beautiful historic home far exceeded our expectations. The listing hardly did it justice- it was unique, beautiful, and spacious and updated. We had 8 family members and were able to enjoy the space very comfortably. We’ll definitely be back if we are in the area.

This was a "step back in time moment" from the minute we walked up the steps. Gorgeous porch, windows and seating everywhere. Spacious and spread out and decorated with taste; an eclectic and clever blend of modern amenities in historic charm. Our group had a wonderful time and enjoyed the convenient location as well as the comforts this beauty provided.

Absolutely gorgeous property! Beautiful porches with ceiling fans and comfortable couches and chairs to relax in outside. The home inside has everything you could ask for and more! Beautifully decorated and in the middle of the Victorian district. Literally around the corner from great restraunts and stores in downtown Brunswick. Qui k ride to Jekyll Island and St Simon's. Will definitely stay here on our next trip!

Unique place
Wonderful place to stay. We really enjoyed the house. My only suggestion is getting a black out curtain in the upstairs bathroom. Otherwise, it was great. Had everything we needed!

Wonderful historic home
We throughly enjoyed this home. Owners were fantastic! They included the little things that make all the difference, spices to cook with, paper products, dish soap, laundry soap, trash bags! It's the little things that make the experience extra special. The home is fantastic, large enough my 2 adult kids and 2 teenagers had "their privacy". We'd love to return for our next trip to the Golden Isles.

What a home! Hats off to the owners and hosts because this VRBO was AMAZING and does not disappoint. First, this home is located on a quiet and historic stretch in Brunswick. Surrounded by impressively restored homes and friendly neighbors, 912 Carpenter easily and comfortably accommodated our multi generational crew of 7 (my husband, father, two children, and in laws). The kitchen offers everything you need to prepare meals at home, from beautiful dinnerware and flatware to cookware and utensils, and lovely extras (spices, oils, blender, toaster, etc.). The dining room is both stunning and spacious. The owners have done a great job with blending the character of this home with modern amenities and decor. It truly is a beautiful home. With three smart TVs and a wrap around porch, there is something for everyone. With four beautifully decorated bedrooms, there is also space for everyone!
The home is well within walking distance to Brunswick eateries (we highly recommend Tipsy McSway - as suggested by the owners, and The Village Oven) and shopping. If walking and exploring the neighborhood isn't your thing, the proximity of 912 Carpenter to Jekyll Island and St. Simon's makes travel to these areas easy, no more than 15 to 20 minutes. The owners' attention to detail (books regarding the history of Brunswick, hypoallergenic detergents for laundry, the availability of mosquito repellent and citronella candles to ensure safety and comfort while enjoying lovely evenings on the porch) and responsiveness is remarkable. Easily reached via text, Kevin and Brenda were wonderful to work with and we look forward to our next visit. Thank you for a lovely trip!

Beyond my expectations
Not enough positive I can say about this property and the owners. Lots of thoughtful touches. The home is better than the pictures. The porches are divine. We spent part of everyday reading, working or napping there. The WiFi accommodated two people working and any streaming we wanted to do. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked. We love to cook meals on vacation, when we have extra time to put into it. There was nothing that we were missing. The home’s layout is perfect to be able to congregate or spend time separately. The location is great! We enjoyed taking many walks through the neighborhood and exploring this historic town. Close to so many great attractions- highly recommend driftwood beach and world war II museum on st simons. This is one of the best vacations we have had. Will definitely be recommending to others. Hope to come again!

This property is a beautifully renovated historic home. It certainly met our expectations and delivered as advertised. The home is on a very quiet street and is a comfortable walk into town. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. There are some very nice golf courses near by as well as some good nature trails in the area. We had an enjoyable week and would certainly recommend this accommodation.

Property was very nice. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was very nice. Would have liked more television sets on the property. The temperature was a bit of a problem. Bedrooms were either very hot or very cold. Would have like more than 1 key to the house. A window treatment at the kitchen door would have helped and in the bathrooms. Overall very nice stay.

This is a beautiful home with very spacious living areas and bedrooms. The wrap around porch is a great place to sit and relax. Kitchen is fully equipped. WiFi and TVs work great. Beds sleep well with plenty of blankets for cool nights. We had an issue with one of the appliances and Kevin was very responsive to our concerns. There was also a lot of helpful information about the home and with suggestions for the area. Overall a nice and comfortable house to stay at.

Relaxing
A fellow teacher and I took this trip to this house to relax. It was terrific. Kevin gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. However, the highlight for me was the peacock room. I loved it. It reminded me of my childhood growing up in an older home. I also loved the split-level thermostats in the house. Kevin's suggestions on what to do around town were greatly appreciated and used.
