Disaster after disaster at this place. Ot is old and dated, so many things were broken and dangerous. When I arrived the place stank so much of bleach that my eyes were stinging. My 1 year old daughter was injured when she attempted to stand up holding the TV unit. The cupboard hinge was broken and it fell on her face, causing a large bruise to her jaw. I sat on the bed to feed my daughter and the whole thing collapsed. Upon inspecting the bed it had been broken previously and a poor attempt had been made to fix it. My husband and I could not sleep on the bed so he had to leave and find alternative accommodation, whilst I slept on a single bed. When I rolled over on the single bed, one of the slats broke and it was super uncomfortable. I was worried everytime I rolled over that this bed would also collapse. I almost cut my finger off with a broken knife. The stovetop is damaged and creates a burning smell when trying to cook. The apartment started smoking out so we couldn't use it. The hinge on the bedroom window was broken so we couldn't shut the window and were freezing at night. Some of the lights didn't work, the lamp didn't work. There were cigarette burns on the carpet. We were not allowed to close the balcony shutters and there were no curtains so we had no privacy. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. I emailed the owner about all the above issues. He showed up knocking on the door early in the morning of our check out. He started shouting at me in front of my children. I told him he should call before showing up and he said that he has the right to enter at any time he pleases. He told me that I am trouble, he did not apologise for anything. I felt afraid of him and unsafe so I left with my baby. This has been the worst experience.
