Our family loved this house! Lots of room for 5 of us to spread out and have our own space, plenty of table space for meals or family game-time, beautiful outside porch area, quick drive to Flagstaff, and surrounding areas were easy to get to. I'm a foodie and I love to cook. I was hoping for a little bit better-appointed kitchen, but it sufficed for our needs. We had to do a little pot shuffling when we made Chicken Alfredo, but it worked out. The knives could be sharper and would have been if I was any good with a wand-style sharpener, but alas, I am not and I did not want to make them worse! My only other complaint was that the bathrooms were not set with towels and wash cloths for our use. I had to go find them in the master bedroom closet. Otherwise, as I stated previously, this is a GREAT home to stay in! It is beautiful and is in the middle of a beautiful forest. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Best part of this house is the view you can enjoy from the living room (or from the lanai) of the forest and the smell of the tree! I loved enjoying my hot latte by the window (or on lanai). I took some fall family pictures! The reasons why I did not give 5 star was the cleanliness of the house (bearable) and broken washer :( I can see us staying at this house again :)

Very good, however the lighting is poor. Everything was well stocked and supplied and management was quick to respond with needs.

Katannya is responsive and attentive but not towards the property. The property itself is older and was a bit dusty and had many spider webs around the property. Linen smelled old and not very clean. Shower curtain was dirty and towels are old, spotty and smell like they have been put away for a while. There is no AC in the property so if it’s a hot weekend be prepared to be hot. The cabin is not very cool. The main living area has a ceiling light fan but the light is not bright and when you turn on the fan, it seems like it will fall off. Not all rooms have a ceiling fan so one of the rooms was hot. We were not able to sleep on the top bunk bed because the fan is close to the bunk bed and when the fan is on it can be a huge hazard and cause an accident. In the bedrooms lighting is great but in the main living area the Christmas light chandelier lights were half burnt out. The first night we were not able to use one of the bathrooms because the light was burnt out and there were no windows. The stairs leading into the cabin are small and really not safe. At the end, Katannya sends you a google doc asking you to go through a long check list which is nice but somewhat long and unnecessary. Overall, we appreciate Katannya for allowing to stay in her home but this property needs a lot a lot of work. I would make sure these issues are fixed before booking.
