I stayed in Hugo's compartment for a week and it was so far the best experience I had in Monrovia, in the heart of the old city where all restaurants and groceries are around, hiking trails are like 25 minutes walking or 4 minutes drive if you'd rather do it this way, the unit was so cozy and has everything you might dream of, the kitchen has all needed essentials for a delicious meal, the TV was a big plus with all ready-to-use apos. The printer was a great help when I needed to print out few papers for my doctor visit. (Who would leave a printer and all needed stationary for guest use :D
Only concern was the street noise at early morning and neighbors slamming the building entrance door constantly but that wasn't an issue for me as I was waking up for hiking at 5am already.
I'd never go anywhere else when in Monrovia again and would deal with Hugo after my great experience with him with his fast response to any inquiries we had.
Forgot to mention that the place has laundry room and fitness center in place which was a huge plus, having detergent in place for use would be a nice touch but we got it from the grocery anyway.

We stayed for 8 days and wouldn’t do it again. Water damage throughout. Fire hazard with extension chord issues at every outlet…not an exaggeration, every outlet. Shower floor is lopsided and dangerous. I had to mop the floors when I arrived because they were filthy. Booklet has the wrong information in it, including the Wi-Fi info. The 5$ laundry card had only 1.50$ on it. Hidden camera spying on us on the back patio not disclosed. No cell service inside the apartment, Wi-Fi or no Wi-Fi. Every table wobbles and is not safe for a child. Chairs are the same way. Couch is uncomfortable and the mattress must be 20 years old in the bedroom…otherwise location is perfect. Host was responsive and allowed early check in. If I had to do it again, no way I would pay the same price for what we got. Should’ve been 30% less for all the undisclosed problems.

Overall it was fine. Apt. Is older. Kitchen could use more dishes cups for 4 people. No dishwasher. We only ate breakfast there so it was fine. Coffee was good.

Area was nice. Easy to walk to restaurants and close to freeway. Apartment was small but worked for what we needed. Manager responded promptly to any questions I asked.

The apartment was very comfortable and looked great! The area was beyond my expectations- charming, good restaurants, fun events happening during my stay. As a single older woman, I felt safe on my own.

Excellent location, great facilities
This was the perfect place for us to stay! The apartment was furnished with all that we required, and host Hugo was very responsive to all inquiries. We would definately stay here again.

Great place great location but many in this complex smoke in common areas. We were surprised because listing didn’t allow any smoking. That is one of the reasons we chose this place.

The apartment is in an ideal location close to restaurants and shops in "downtown" Monrovia. Parking provided in a gated lot. Everything was clean and functional in the apartment. I would not hesitate to stay there again if I were in the area for either work or recreation.

Hip little apartment right down the street from the best of Old Town Monrovia. Clean, comfortable, and colorful with thoughtful touches. Access was easy and Hugo accommodated my travel, arrival, and check in needs with professionalism and care.

We enjoyed our stay appliances were good and kitchen is organized. There could have been an extra set of towels in the bathroom but overall it was very nice 👌
