The unit is equipped with A/C, TV, Wi-Fi (with public computers also available in library). The resort itself has great family resort atmosphere and is also comfortable for retirees. The resort also offers free parking in the on-site garage (one spot only per unit), pool, hot tub, fire pits, BBQ, fitness room, free beach equipment and bikes. The fire pits in the quad are nice for sitting and enjoying the company of family and friends. There can be live music on the lawn on weekends, wine and cheese socials, sun-bathers, readers/relaxers, families, honeymooners, which can make it a lively and busy place. The resort is located close to ocean, and is very short walking distance to beach. It has one of the very best locations in Carlsbad, within walking distance of downtown Carlsbad Village with many excellent restaurants. The Amtrak/Coaster train station is only three blocks way.
