The ladies who are on site at Puerto Viejo Club are the sweetest and so very fun and helpful. They check on you daily and will even do your laundry for a very nominal fee. I don't think my clothes have ever smelled so fresh nor have ever been folded so nicely. We really enjoyed everything about our stay.

The Villa and property were much nicer than what the pictures showed, so we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were basic, just a bed and chairs, but modern and well decorated. The kitchen was large with plenty of utensils, but didn’t have cooking oil or a lighter for the glass stove. Had a couple of requests to the management during the stay, and they were slow to respond or not at all. The grounds were really nice and pretty cool, lots of trees and birds, with a toucan greeting us on arrival. The common area around the pool was spacious, with filtered water available for guests.

The location. The pool is big. The privacy of the rooms
The kids pool was empty. I was traveling with a 3 yrs old so we would have liked for this pool to be available, as the website said. It seemed like it’s been empty for a while actually. And there was a noise in the roof at night so it was hard to sleep maybe it was an animal. It sounded like a squirrel eating nuts
