Nestled in Jamaica Beach, this charming house for $369 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Serenity awaits you at this fabulously renovated, oasis on the bay. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath masterpiece is adorned with all new stainless steel appliances, Viking stove, marble counters, modern bathroom and kitchen finishes, plush furnishings, and much much more. You will enjoy spectacular views from sun up to sundown on the large two-story deck. Whether sipping coffee, or cocktails, boat watching, grilling out, fishing off the deck, bird watching, or lounging on the deck, this home has something for everyone. The large, fully fenced-in yard is great for young children and pets. There is a boat slip with a lift system available if you would like to bring your boat. It offers very easy access to the main bay. We also have 2 kayaks available for canal cruising. The inside of the home is breathtakingly beautiful. The master bedroom features a roomy king-size bed with an ensuite that houses a cozy queen-size pull-out couch. The second bedroom features a comfy queen-size bed for two. The third bedroom offers a queen bed that sleeps 2. There is also a built-in loft/daybed in the family room for additional sleeping space for 1. The home is perfect for two families, one family, and in-laws, or a girl's getaway. The home is a short distance from the vehicle-accessible beach, where you can enjoy a day of fun in the sun! When you return there is an outdoor shower to rinse off. The Jamaica Beach neighborhood also offers a community swimming pool. For a small fee on-site, you can enjoy the freshwater while taking in the sun. You can also rent kayaks, paddleboards, and golf carts to enjoy during your stay. There is a boat slip available for your own boat as well. The City of Galveston is full of wonderful attractions as well. This is I believe our 8th stay in this beautiful canal home and we will be back asap! This home is just our favorite in Jamaica Beach. The house is so beautiful and cozy, the view is amazing, location is perfect, wonderful beds, well maintained…. I could go on and on. Our boys just love fishing and kayaking from the back dock. Our family loved celebrating thanksgiving here this year. We even caught some blue shell crabs from the back dock. We have made so many family memories over the years here and can’t wait to get back.

We loved it! We’ve never stayed Bayside and they were so many fun things to do. The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and very clean. I will definitely come back again.

We booked to spend a weekend with my son, his wife, 1 1/2 year old grandson and his wife’s sister. The area was quiet with great access to the beach. Working with Kathy was a pleasure, she was responsive and available for all questions. Would highly recommend booking with her properties to anyone interested in visiting the area.

We loved the location! Great view of the canal all the way around. The living area was grand with large kitchen and island bar. Plenty of seating around the bar and living room. Great porch area! The master bedroom needs bedside tables and a place to hang clothes. Bathroom is large but not enough towels. We were hoping for 3 bathrooms but in reality, there are only 2. There is an outdoor shower but, in my mind, that does not qualify as a bathroom. All in all, we loved our stay!

While overall our stay with our family and grandchildren was everything we had hoped. Unfortunately this beautiful house did not live up to photos . This home has black mold on entire great room ceiling. We decided not to go thru the hassle of trying to find a replacement because we only booked for 4 days . We came along way from hawaii to spend this family time. We should have left because my husband and myself have been sick after staying at this property. I did make the property manager aware I can only hope it’s corrected for future guest

This was our first trip to Jamaica Beach and Serenity on the Bay was the perfect vacation home for our family of three! It certainly could sleep more however we loved having the extra space. The sofa area in the upstairs bedroom was perfect for luggage over the week, especially located between the bathroom and bedroom. The nook located in the living area was loved by our 11 year old. It was her little space to hang out. We loved it too because while she enjoyed playing on her device from time to time, we enjoyed having her part of our relax time as well. The sunset and sunrise were absolutely stunning! We only had a couple of simple questions during our stay and Kathy was very quick to respond! The pictures are just as in person. The checkout process was super simple, which is greatly appreciated because no one really wants to checkout of vacation!! And long checkout lists just drag out the sadness of leaving what was a very memorable week. We are all looking forward to visiting Serenity on the Bay again! Hopefully very soon!! It was honestly a home away from home and the perfect setup for relaxing or having some adventure!
Last, but not least, the community is fantastic!! Everyone is so nice, the pool was great, the beach itself is very well manicured, access to the restaurants and stores on the highway are accessible without getting onto the highway. It’s very convenient! And, Kathy was a stellar host!!!

This house is absolutely beautiful inside! The kitchen was amazing. We enjoyed floating on our lily pad in the canal and enjoying the sunset from the balcony. It is a short drive to the beach and a short boat ride to the bay. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! We have stayed in 3 houses in Jamaica Beach now and this will be our first choice for stay when we come back.

Beautiful well maintained property, perfectly situated on the the water with sprawling decks, kayaks for exploring and short distance to the not-so-crowded beach. We loved the sunset/rise and would stay again.

It was a nice birthday weekend getaway with family and friends. The location was great! Close to restaurants and beachfront. House was nice and my husband finally caught a fish the morning we were leaving. Our fur baby enjoyed the deck and yard. Loved the bright airy Decor and the gourmet kitchen was perfect!

This was our third stay at this beautiful house and we will definitely be back for number four! The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. The owner is always so accommodating and quick to respond to any questions you may have. It’s perfectly located on the open canal for anyone wanting to fish or just enjoy the incredible views from the upper or lower deck. We were gifted this trip by a number of pelicans that visited us throughout each day which was so cool! Wonderful memories were made yet again! Highly recommend this house!

We loved everything about the place except, it is not really set up for the elderly too many stairs. Commodes are outdated and very low. A very nice yard that is fenced in for the dogs to play in and the kayaks were a nice touch.

We really enjoyed our stay at Serenity on the Bay. The house and yard are beautiful. The house, dock area and boat lift had all the conveniences that we needed. We enjoyed drinking our coffee on the fantastic deck overlooking the canal in the morning and watching the beautiful sunsets at night. The house had everything that we needed for a very comfortable stay. We used the boat dock and lift to easily launch and store our boat so we could enjoy several days of fishing. We parked our golf cart in the covered area and enjoyed our trips to the beach. We had a really great time. We felt immediately at home with the house having everything that we needed and extras. We are Astros fans and had a cable issue getting the first ALCS game. Kathy the property manager was terrific in helping us get the cable working. She spent a huge amount of time and made an amazing effort working with the cable provider to make sure we could see the Astro games during the week.

I'm a former full-time resident of Jamaica Beach and rent a canal house for my family nearly every summer. We weren't in this house 5 minutes before my wife proclaimed it as her favorite of all the rentals. Views of the main channel from the kitchen sink, upper deck, and pier, were outstanding. Fishing in the underwater light at night was great, we caught & released redfish, speckled trout, and sand trout on live shrimp. We rented a boat for a few days and Kathy happily arranged for the boat launch permits with JB City Hall, something we couldn't get a different property manager of a different house to understand or do for us last year. Depending on the size of our party next year, this home will absolutely be at the top of our list.

Wonderful house with about the best location on a canal in Jamaica Beach. The fishing was great, the home is beautiful and very well designed to accommodate families with kids and pets. The home is also well equipped with plenty of linens, paper products, etc. Kathy was very attentive and responsive to all our questions. Overall, great stay, definitely recommend.

The location of the house was great, you are just around the bend from the main ocean so you get so see a lot of boat traffic which we liked. The fishing was great! The house was very nice and was set up nicely. A big plus for us was the fence that surrounded the property. Having a toddler, this gave us peace of mind while playing outside. We can’t wait to come back!

Our family had a fantastic weekend at this lovely home! The house is absolutely gorgeous and has so much space. We really enjoyed being on the deck fishing, listening to music and watching the fish jump out of the water. We would definitely return!!!

Great fishing location in West bay
Great location, mile from beach half mile from swimming pool and you can swim right off the deck in the canal. Nice place for a boat with its own dock and we caught specs, reds and flounder less than a mile from the house every time we fished

We had a lot of "wants" in looking for a family vacation out of state. We weren't sure of a canal rental vs gulf front but were very pleased with the wide canal location. Loved the 2 kayaks where you could explore all the canals or paddle out to the gulf. We flew so we didn't have everything we wanted so we did purchase things locally like fishing gear, a hammock, boogie boards, sand toys, etc. which was well worth the money spent. The open & airy first floor was a delight, everyone loved the cozy bed built into the wall for naptime! Two nice sized bathrooms, and 3 smallish bedrooms with the master bedroom having a sofa sleep in a little nook of the room. During the hot days we spent our time on the ground level deck since it was cooler and the second floor deck when things were cooling down. There was a small fenced in grassy area which our twin 4 year olds enjoyed. Just a very short drive was an entry for the 13 miles of the beach and you could park on the beach so we just kept all needed items in our car so it was very uncomplicated. So we ended up with the best of both worlds!

We loved this house! It was exceptionally clean, which is the most important. The kitchen was fully stocked, comfortable bedding, beautiful and open kitchen for gathering. Plenty of seating outside. We loved the location on the water and we enjoyed the kayaks. This was our favorite place in Jamaica Beach- we will be back!
