Guests are a short golf cart ride from the beach (about 4 minutes), with plenty to enjoy back at the house for meals, downtime, and evenings by the water.

Blue Haven features an open kitchen, dining, and living room layout. The living room includes multiple couches and a TV with streaming services. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook at home, and dining is at the kitchen island with seating for 4. A washer and dryer are available for guest use during your stay.

The dock and lift make it convenient to bring a boat (up to 21 ft). Guests may also use the crab traps for crabbing off the dock, and kayaks are available on site for canal cruising. Beach essentials such as sand toys and boogie boards are provided, and an outdoor shower is available for rinsing off after the beach. A basketball hoop is also available outside.

While the location itself had potential, the property did not match the expectations set by the listing and appears to need maintenance and updating.One issues was the lack of access to a washer and dryer, despite those being listed as amenities it is in a downstairs area that we were unable to access. Several other advertised features were either missing or not functional, including the boat slip listed in the title, which was unusable due to missing straps and questionable functionality.There were also maintenance and safety concerns throughout the property. The upstairs decking has areas of rot, the concrete bulkhead near the dock is extremely slippery with fall risk, and the hoses by the dock do not work. The barbecue pit is in poor condition and should likely be replaced.Inside the home, both ceiling fans in the extra bedrooms were nonfunctional, the closet is missing a door in one room, the bunk bed was questionable, the sheets would not stay on the beds due to the lack of elasticity and plastic bed cover, and the master bed is noticeably worn and uneven. Outdoor furniture was generally worn, with dirty cushions and one rocking chair was falling apart.Additionally, the kayaks were provided without paddles or life jackets, which made them unusable for most guests.Overall, the property could be enjoyable with proper maintenance and better attention to the accuracy of the listing, but in its current condition it did not meet expectations.
