Nestled in Bethany Beach, this lovely house for $376 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. East side home just two blocks to Bethany Beach. Great for large families, sleeps up to 16. A short walk to the many restaurants and shops in town, this wonderfully appointed 5 bedroom, 5 ½-bath home has many features including private bathrooms and great closet/drawer space for all bedrooms. This well-maintained home features an open Great Room & Dining Area with large dining table, stone fireplace, custom bookshelves, bamboo floors and plenty of seating. Some of the many features include a well-equipped kitchen with ample counter space, counter seating, coffee pot and Keurig. Next to the kitchen you will find a wet bar with plenty of barware, an under counter ice maker and refrigerator. This home has laundry facilities on both the ground level and second floor, built-in custom bunk beds and dressers, master bath soaking tub, custom lighting package, 5 flat Screen TV's including a 55” Smart TV in the great room with Sonos surround sound, a second floor Den with access to one of several outdoor decks, sleeper sofa, desk, Smart TV with video system connection, and Sonos sound system. This home has a newly updated high-speed wireless internet service throughout, and premium cable TV with TiVo DVR & XTREAM service in the Great Room and Den. The ground floor has a large guest closet with beach chairs and accessories, and a game room with ping-pong and foosball. This home has a covered front porch, front and back open decks, screened-in elevated back deck, backyard deck at grade with a large Weber gas grill, Adirondack chairs and 8-seat picnic table, as well as two enclosed outdoor showers with private changing areas. This is an Energy Star designated home w/ solar power, four-zone geothermal heating/cooling, energy efficient windows, doors, insulation, and lighting. The pictures don't do this property justice. It's an amazing home and perfect beach getaway. 2 blocks to beach, 2 blocks to town, walking distance to a CVS ... walking distance to a seafood market if you don't mind a longer walk. The common area is perfect for evening relaxation and there are enough outdoor porches to give everyone their space. Oh, and a separate office space for those zoom calls you just couldn't reschedule.

We love staying at this beach home. It offers everything that our family could want and more. We especially love that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen is very well stocked with glasses, dishes, utensils and cookware. The game room provided lots of fun filled competition for our family. There was also plenty of fun games available to play in the evenings and on the few rainy days. We're grateful that beach equipment is provided, especially the cart which came in handy taking things to the beach. We love the location which was only a short walk to the beach and to the downtown area. We had a wonderful meal at the Parkway restaurant and had ice cream almost every night at Maureen's Ice Cream shop. Our nineteen-month-old granddaughter enjoyed the park that was also within walking distance. She also enjoyed the Bethany Beach Nature Center which was a short drive on Garfield Parkway. Our whole vacation experience was fabulous and look forward to returning next year.

We were a group of 10 childhood friends who have been getting together for about 6 years in the spring and fall. This place was by far the best place we have ever stayed at. From the picture, you think this could not be big enough -- trust us, it is.
The house was spotless, the kitchen very well stocked with not your normal run of the mill rental appliances and utensils. It provided two bedrooms with 2 sets of twin beds - perfect for individuals - not couples. A bathroom attached to each bedroom was an additional perk. If you have a few couples with kids staying, each couple could have their bedroom, with the kids in the bunk bedrooms.
The kitchen table was perfect for meals where we could all gather at one time.
Probably the only downside we could come up with was the inability to see the ocean/bay from the house. Otherwise a 5 star rental. It is a very short walk to the beach or shopping area. Beach chairs provided and things for rainy days - lots of games (we didn't stop talking long enough to play).

Outstanding Family Vacation
This house is beautiful and very well equipped. We have stayed at many homes in the Bethany Beach area over the last 15 years and this one has been the best equipped. We had all all the pots, pans, mixing bowls, utensils, plates, silverware, appliances needed to bake and make meals. All of the beds were comfortable and had extra blankets. The main living area was spacious and great for everyone to do different things but still be together. We heavily used the ping pong table. Our entire family had a great time!

The interior design and decorating is very classy and yet beach-like. The grille, two outside showers, hose for feet washing, and ice maker were very nice amenities that made our stay very enjoyable. The home was decorated beautifully and you cannot beat the location. However, the owners need to check on their cleaning company. The kitchen cabinets were dirty, there was sand on the floors, The bathrooms for the "non primary" bedrooms were not even wiped down. There was hair all over the showers and the toilets did not look clean at all. In addition, the wifi and televisions need an upgrade. The wifi was constantly going in and out and the TV in the family room upstairs didn't work half the time. Upgrading the mattresses in the non primary bedrooms wouldn't hurt either, or maybe just getting some mattress pads.
