Looking to possibly retire here from Southern California. Grew up in the Detroit area so I decided to go back to my roots, sort of! Definitely want to be close to Lake Michigan because I love the water. Everything went smoothly and our host Tina could not even more accommodating and darling!

The only way to describe this rental is perfect! Immaculately clean, plenty spacious and in the best location in town! The owner was so kind and easy to work with. She also surprised us with early check in and late check out! We have traveled to Grand Haven for the past six years and have stayed at various rentals. Sand suite surpasses them all. We have found our forever rental. This is where we will stay from now on. Do not hesitate to book this property.

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful small apartment. It was fun being right down town. Close to beach. My husband and I are 71 so the stairs was a little challenging. But we had our daughter to help carry things upstairs. Perfect size for us to stay in.

We stayed for 4 nights and LOVED every minute! Location is right on Washington but on the backside of the building so it’s very quiet at night. Very cutely decorated and had everything we needed! Host was incredible kind and very responsive :) We are already looking forward to next year’s stay!

The stay was excellent. Super clean, great location, apartment was spacious. Detailed instructions provided prior to stay. Even though staying downtown, very quiet. Shop owners were so nice around the apartment.

Very cool to open your door and be right on Washington Ave. enough said about that. Apartment is cozy. Two bedrooms, but only 1 bathroom. We knew this going in and it all worked out fine. TV’s in all rooms was very convenient. Kitchen has everything needed.

Easy/fast check-in. Location is right in downtown area with lots to do and easy walking to the beach. Apartment was mostly quiet, but if you have little kids I will say that it was very noisy when people would enter/exit the nextdoor unit. Everything was clean, and well-maintained.The host was very responsive when we had a question, and when my son left his favorite hat, she agreed to mail it to us. Overall 5/5 for us

We had a wonderful stay at Sand Suite this December. The apartment was spotless and spacious and provided everything we needed. Loved how the light came in through the windows during the day. The bathroom sink is a good size and had adequate shelving which was important because between the 2 bedrooms (3 of us), we shared the one bathroom. The only unfortunate part of our stay was a strange, constant banging sound (like an airplane taking off and landing every 2 minutes) that seemed to be coming from the heating unit (or roof above) anytime we used the unit. This was very disturbing for sleeping so bring your earplugs! Still, what a lovely, inexpensive place for a family to stay and connect with each other.

The location of this suite is perfect for downtown Grand Haven. And with parking just 15 feet from the door, it is very convenient to minimize challenges from the elements if they arise. Very clean and with no perceptible scent from any cleaning products or air fresheners. Definitely on our list to revisit.

Rented this for our children as a kind of mini-honeymoon. They loved the place. Said it was close to everything they needed, and although right above Barefoot Dave's on the main street in town, was very quiet and peaceful. Leanne was very helpful with check-in information well ahead of time, and with the exception of a little confusion on where to park everything went perfectly! Overall it was a nice stay for them.

Such a cute cozy apartment! Perfect for my husband and I with our 13 year old daughter and 20 year old son. It was very clean and well stocked with anything we needed. It was also surprisingly quite for being right over the shops. Location down town was perfect for walking down by the water front and shopping. It was such a nice way to relax before ending the summer break. We would defiantly rent again!

My family of 4 stayed for 3 nights this past week. Location is right off Washington, easy access in and out from all of the local spots. Property was very clean, well maintained, and just all around a great spot to be. Kids are 5 and 8, the spare bedroom with 2 twin beds was perfect for them, while my husband and I took the master. We will definitely be back!

This rental was great! Clean, updated, enough space for everyone. We could walk to dinner, shops, and the water! We loved it all! Only a 2 minute drive to the beach! We will definitely be visiting again!

I would give this rental two thumbs up! If I had a third thumb, I’d give it three thumbs up! The location was terrific, in the middle of everything. The place itself is well appointed and comfortable. The beds are so comfortable and the parking spot was a bonus! Would definitely stay here again!

Staying in town was not one of our preferences, but this place has changed our minds. The location of this apartment was amazing! Two to three doors down from the Toasted Pickle (which I highly recommend), and a couple of blocks from the boardwalk. This beautiful little apartment was very clean, and quiet, and it had everything that you could think of for our stay. Leanne was so quick to answer all of our questions that we had on our first day and she was always that way leading up to our stay. I would highly recommend this VRBO location to anyone! Thanks, Leanne for making our stay so pleasurable!

Overall, we had a wonderful time in Grand Haven. With the ideal parking spot and apartment, we could walk to everything and enjoy the beautiful weather. The AC worked well, and it was nice having the ceiling fans in each bedroom. Fortunately, we do not have allergies as there was leftover pet hair that stuck to us from the floor/rugs as well as along some of the baseboards, but it wasn't a big deal. The smart TVs in the living room and bedroom with two twin beds struggled to stay connected to the internet, and we had trouble watching anything from those two areas. These are but small gripes, and all in all, we would definitely stay again!

Situated downtown, but also 1 block away from the boardwalk. Close to stores, restaurants, and musical fountain. You can walk to the beach and lighthouse. A cute place to stay, extremely clean. Will stay there again.
