About this condo rental
Nestled in Folly Beach, this charming condo for $440 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. The City of Folly Beach has scheduled beach renourishment for this spring. The project will start at the West end of the island at the county park progressing towards the pier in blocks. The completion is slated for August. While this is welcomed news given the recent erosion from storms and high tides, we realize the potential for disruption based on the project’s timing. We are committed to ensuring your vacation experience remains enjoyable. While most of the beach will remain publicly accessible during the construction, there is a possibility that certain sections of the beach, typically about 500 feet at a time, may be temporarily closed off. The active work area moves every 5 to 7 days on average. Due to so many external factors, we have no way to predict an accurate timeline for when the project will be at any given location. However, if we anticipate in advance that the project may affect your stay, we will be reaching out to you. In the small chance the project directly affects your beachfront vacation, we will work closely with you to discuss options. **According to current pacing and projections of the renourishment project, we expect the project to be completed at Chas. Oceanfront Villas by mid June, barring any unexpected delays. “Villa Carolina” at the Charleston Oceanfront Villas, invites you to experience your dream beach vacation in this renovated three bedroom condominium that features spectacular beach, pier & town views! Located in the relaxed beach town of Folly Beach, the Charleston Oceanfront Villas is the only oceanfront, gated complex with 2 community pools. Both pools are open each year from April 1-October 31st, which add to the luxury! The villa underwent an incredible transformation from drab to FAB. New tile flooring runs through the entire condo. Gorgeous furniture can be found throughout. The living room has a sleeper sofa, creating extra sleeping space for 2. Custom built-in cabinetry with granite countertops can be found in each bedroom, allowing a little more space to spread out. The kitchen features the same alluring granite counters with custom cabinets, along with a fully equipped kitchen and wetbar. Like a page from a magazine, “Villa Carolina” embodies the best of coastal living! The living room is spacious enough, with cozy seating for the entire group. The kitchen and dining room are open to the living area, allowing everyone to hang out together after a long day in the sun. The balcony has a heavy duty bar-height table with chairs and 2 lounge chairs perfect for relaxing post-beach. The master suite has a king sized bed, a beautifully renovated private bathroom with two sinks and a grand walk-in tiled shower. The master bedroom also has it’s own access to the oceanfront balcony. The two guest bedrooms are towards the back of the condo on either side of the hallway. The queen bedroom has it’s own private bathroom while the twin bedroom bathroom shares access with the hallway. All bedrooms have direct access to a private bath. Charleston Oceanfront Villas "Villa Carolina" is perfect for family beach weeks, girls getaways, and group golf excursions. It is a top notch option from vacation rentals on Folly Beach. Soak in the coastal breeze or Carolina sun from your expansive oceanfront balcony or from two oceanfront pools hugging the Charleston Coast. Wander the sandy beaches of Folly Island or stroll the local shops on Center St. just steps from your villa. Visit the Folly Beach Fishing Pier to try your luck for some fresh sea fare. No bites? NO problem. Gather the group and head to the funky and fun “downtown” Folly for a great local dinner or live music and dancing. Visit the island park with a playground or watch the sailboats cruise by from the Folly River dock. Visiting historic Charleston for the day? Walk the Charleston Battery, explore the Market, picnic at Waterfront Park, or take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the Holy City. We traveled to celebrate our son graduating from MUSC and brought family also. The 3 bed/3 bath was decorated nicely and amply equipped with all we needed. I was blown away with two types of wine glasses! We hired a private chef and he had all he needed as well!
The support staff was responsive and helpful each time we reached out. Little mold in master shower, but they are hard to keep clean. We loved the deck and view and location!

Location was easy to get to & not far from Charleston or the other areas we wanted to visit during our stay. We loved the decor in this unit & really made it feel homey & comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Uncork & Unwind was a great unit.

Family of 5 came into Charleston this weekend to enjoy a wedding downtown, and took the opportunity to get a VRBO on Folly Beach. Check-in process was seamless, and well communicated. Condo was well appointed, and very comfortable. Could have used some additional towels/face towels, but a minor inconvenience to a special weekend with memories. Perhaps when it is a bit warmer, we'll come back and enjoy more time at the beach. No regrets.

We rented a golf cart and drove around. You can walk everywhere, but golf cart made it fun!!! We drove golf cart to lighthouse beach! Worth it!!!!

The property is really nice and updated. The reality people were great to work with. Not a fan with the options form the rental equipment with $250 credit, it would be nice to allow bikes as an option since there is a bike rack on site. Chairs are expensive and you still need to pay a delivery fee. Overall great place and would recommend

This was a wonderful property for our family. The condo itself was very clean and well stocked. With an infant, we needed several breaks from the sun throughout the day so it was very nice to be so close to the pool and beach! We also enjoyed being within walking distance to several shops and restaurants. We plan to return!

Our first time at Folly beach. Condo was great! Walking distance to everything on Folly. Had 3 warm and sunny beach days, and the 3 overcast days were spent in Charleston, Fort Sumter, Boone Plantation, and Stono Ferry golf course. Would definitely come back!

On the beach
The property is located right in the heart of Folly Beach. The main Folly Beach pier is being torn out and being replaced, so there is construction right outside. It is not supposed to be done until 2023. The room was nice and had a good layout. The beds could use updating. Every time I rolled over, the bed would make a lot of noise. The other beds were similar. We stayed up fairly late, but there is a bar across the street with live outdoor music fairly late into the night. Overall though, it was a nice place and we would stay there again.

The property in general was beautiful! Very clean, all updated, and it was like a home away from home! We have stayed at Charleston Ocean Front Villas for years, and it can be a hit or miss with who is managing the condo. We have found the check in experience with this specific property management company (Dunes Properties, Charleston Coast Vacations) was amazing! Their specialist Tracy was incredible. All the difference in the world! A smooth check in and true attention to detail with the specialist. She made sure that we were taken care of from beginning to end! Loved our stay! 5 Star for sure! Will book again with This specific company.

We always try to come down to Folly Beach after Thanksgiving every year, and we always stay in the Villas. They are a perfect location, right on the beach and always exactly what you need.

We had a great time in Folly Beach and loved the location. The property worked well for our family. Would have enjoyed a few more amenities in the kitchen, especially during COVID. Also some family activities or games.
