About this condo rental
Located in Folly Beach, this attractive condo for $810 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. The City of Folly Beach has scheduled beach renourishment for this spring. The project will start at the West end of the island at the county park progressing towards the pier in blocks. The completion is slated for August. While this is welcomed news given the recent erosion from storms and high tides, we realize the potential for disruption based on the project’s timing. We are committed to ensuring your vacation experience remains enjoyable. While most of the beach will remain publicly accessible during the construction, there is a possibility that certain sections of the beach, typically about 500 feet at a time, may be temporarily closed off. The active work area moves every 5 to 7 days on average. Due to so many external factors, we have no way to predict an accurate timeline for when the project will be at any given location. However, if we anticipate in advance that the project may affect your stay, we will be reaching out to you. In the small chance the project directly affects your beachfront vacation, we will work closely with you to discuss options. **According to current pacing and projections of the renourishment project, we expect the project to be completed at Chas. Oceanfront Villas by mid June, barring any unexpected delays. Changes in Latitude is a beautiful, newly renovated, 4 bedroom/4 bathroom condo located on the 2nd floor of Charleston Oceanfront Villas. This freshly renovated villa is the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway that offers stunning views across the beach, as well as the Folly Pier. The professionally designed villa has a balance between a modern interior finish while still managing to incorporate the light green and blue ocean accents to ensure the good vibes from the beach can be brought home. Changes in Latitude was also designed to accommodate all types of work from home needs. A professionally installed Eero Pro Wifi with 600mb of service ensures that high speed internet is always a guarantee. There is a desk in the Master Bedroom as well as the ability for the coffee table in the living room to raise and become another desk. As it can be a challenge to escape work on vacation, the soft sounds of the waves crashing may help ease the work stress. Bedroom Layout: Bedroom #1 - 2 Twins, private bath and a 32” Smart TV Bedroom #2 - Queen bed, en suite bathroom that also has hallway access and a 43” Smart TV. Bedroom #3 - King bed and private bath, 65” Smart TV, and floor to ceiling sliding doors that allow access to the balcony overlooking the beach. Bedroom #4 - King bed, private bath, 65” Smart TV with a spacious desk, private bathroom with double vanities, sliding floor to ceiling doors that allows access to the balcony and plenty of natural light. The kitchen, dining room and living room has an open layout which makes a great place to wind down as a group after a long day in the sun. The large floor to ceiling windows and doors allow for natural light to illuminate the condo. Charleston Oceanfront Villas is a gated oceanfront complex located steps from the shops and restaurants of Folly Beach. These villas feature 2 oceanfront pools, 2 elevators, private covered parking, and amazing views. The pools at the Oceanfront Villas are open seasonally from April 1 - October 31st, weather permitting. The temperature of the pools is not controlled, and will largely depend on the outside weather conditions. Building management is responsible for the upkeep of the pools and elevators on the property. They may close either of these amenities for routine maintenance or cleaning as and when required. Parking is limited to two spaces per villa and passes are complimentary. If additional parking is desired, it is at the discretion of the building management and based on availability. If additional parking passes are available, guests may elect to purchase them, but the cost can range up to $100 per pass. We've partnered with VayK Gear to provide our guests with a credit towards beach gear rentals! Being RIGHT on the beach was fantastic and the property was everything promised . . even more than anticipated as the pictures (especially of the view) doesn't do it justice. Perfect for a family of six adults and 3 children.

This is a great location. The condo was clean and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful stay. The one disappointment was we requested early check in. We had a 4 hour drive to arrive and they let me know at 11 am the morning we were departing home so it was a wasted effort. It would have been nice to know at least the day before so we could plan. All in all I would definitely recommend staying and will look forward to a return visit.

We have been visiting Folly Beach for the last 18 years. Before my father died, my family of 6 always came for a week in June. Dad passed six years ago & now we come for Thanksgiving week to visit his wife. We will always love Folly Beach !

We had 5 adults and 2 young children stay at this property and it was perfect! The floor plan was such that we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. The balcony view of the ocean is just perfect. It was so nice eating dinner there while watching the sunset. The amenities were great and we didn’t feel like we were lacking anything!

This is by far the most lovely condo we've stayed. Not only was it immaculately clean, the decor was calming and peaceful. The 4 bedrooms had quality mattresses and bedding and the four bathrooms were spotless. The huge balcony had plenty of sitting and lounging options and we spend so much time out there just enjoying the sunshine and ocean. We would definitely choose this condo again!!

We typically vacation on Isle of Palms. But due to scheduling changes we had to scramble and find this location on Folly Beach. It was phenomenal. We are considering making this our new favorite place. The only downside is we didn’t have enough key fobs to get in and out of the property on the first day. With a group of eight there probably should be at least four to begin with.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. The deck was wonderful and the view fantastic. The only problem was the sliding door from the living room was very difficult to open. The first impression of the building was disappointing. It could use a little tlc and the elevator was very slow. The location was perfect.

Fantastic
We are 3 couples that rented Changes in Latitude and it was perfect! The picture of this rental were spot on. We were right on the beach, everything was so clean and that includes the grounds, pool area, grounds. We cooked a meal every night with ease and everyone had their own private bathroom which was wonderful. Definitely looking forward to our next trip!!!

Beautiful Condo in Convenient Location
This condo offers upscale, pristine furnishings with a large, beautiful covered porch. Only two negatives found. The first is the locked closet in one of the bedrooms which presented an unexpected unpacking challenge to the occupants. The second is the parking garage ceiling is peeling and left white residue on and over all of our cars.

The property itself is nice (not luxurious though) but there are a few changes I believe could be made to make it better. I had difficulty opening the sliding door outside to the balcony. The beds were comfortable but there was no real comforter on them, just a top sheet and a very thin blanket. I think a thicker weight comforter would help a lot, especially in the colder months. The trash can pull out cabinet was difficult to use as it didn’t smoothly work. There were other minor issues but nothing that ruined our stay.
It wasn’t quite as great as expected but it was definitely above average.
I will add that getting into Charleston was a breeze so it is definitely a convenient location to explore the area.

Convenient to food and beach. Pool not heated. Lights didn’t work in one bedroom. Response was good but we ended up making do. Overall great place. I would recommend sending out one email with all instructions instead of multiple. Could resend same instructions as stay gets closer and during stay. That would be easier to find all the different stages of instructions.
