Enjoy a view of the Laguna Madre Bay, set right behind this colorful retreat. If you're looking for a family-friendly home to rest between trips to the beach, look no further! The bright kitchen features full-size appliances (including a dishwasher!) as well as a nice window view of the water. Enjoy a meal together in the dining room, at the breakfast bar, or out on the furnished patio. Each bedroom features a private en suite bathroom with a shower/tub combination. Everyone can relax in central air conditioning, and tile flooring on the entire ground floor means tracking in sand won't be a problem. Guests will also enjoy access to a shared outdoor pool during their stay - thanks to the private washer/dryer, you'll have enough towels to do everything! What's nearby: Perched in a perfect location for enjoying attractions in the area, the Las Joyas community sits about seven miles southwest of the warm beaches of South Padre Island. Long Island Village Golf Course is just three-and-a-half away! Enjoy learning about local wildlife (including dolphins!) with a tour from Fins To Feathers, based just over two miles away. But if turtles are your favorite, you'll love visiting Sea Turtle, Inc. just eight-and-a-half miles away. Things to know: Free high-speed WiFi and cable Full kitchen with a dishwasher Flat path to front door Gated entrance This property is not on the Gulf shore, but is located on the Bay. It is great for wade fishing and kayaking, but not recommended for swimming Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 2. Dock details: Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

We had an enjoyable time in Port Isabel and South Padre Island. There are so many fun things to do for all ages. The home had a nice bay view and you could even fish from there when the tide was in. We liked the idea of a pool on site but never had time to use it. The home had everything you would need for a stay, however it was not as clean as I would expect. It was lightly surface cleaned, but somewhat grimy upon closer inspection. Vacasa did ask if the cleanliness was sufficient and offered to send someone to remedy any issues, but once we were there we didn't want to mess with the cleaning people coming back out. Communication from Vacasa was good and they quickly got back to us when we reached out.

Cute decorations. Everything you need for a getaway. Spices, cutlery, washer and dryer.... Entry lock a learning curve. Not great for fishing or crabbing. Close to coffee and shopping.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The house had every amenity possible, plus things I would not have thought of. The front view and scenery was just what I was looking for. The distance to SPI was perfect! Port Isabel had everything we needed. I was a bit concerned about the construction taking place right next door but since it wasn't bad at all.

Very nice house complete with most everything you need. February had some chilly and cloudy days and there is no heat so the house was too cold for me. If you stay in the winter months I would advise bringing a space heater.

This was a perfect house for a weekend away fishing out of south padre. The house was very clean and comfortable. The view was perfect! Theres a nice back porch that faces the bay! The beds were comfortable and the house was equipped with everything you need. We would definitely stay here again!
