The beach was very beautiful and clean. Quiet, clean and spacious room with sea view just next to the beach.
Fridge not cold enough for my likings as I enjoy drinking cold beverages. Only two parasolles on the beach - should have been more. The food was not great.

The great thing about Avani is the location - it’s a beautiful beach where you can see the sun rise every morning, and you can walk over to Bai Xep for amazing seafood meals and a local vibe.
Overall, it did not feel like the is hotel was at the quality level that it should be at considering the price level. It was by far the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our three weeks in Vietnam (and we stayed at another luxury hotel, as well as mid range and budget options) - yet we had our most disappointing experiences here. Eating at the restaurant outside of breakfast was not a great experience, and we would not recommend it. Very expensive, not good quality and not enough food to fill up even a person with a small appetite. The staff seemed overwhelmed with just a few guests there for dinner. The service levels overall did not match what I would expect at this price point and, while the rooms were lovely and spacious, they felt dated. I want to acknowledge that the hotel staff did try to rectify the situation with our stay as we felt it necessary to complain - which we normally never do! - but I just didn’t feel like we truly had the experience we came for. I would come back to this area again but probably look for a different hotel.
