Recently renovated and decorated, you won't find a better rental! Guests will love this cozy home located near a variety of attractions. Just 2 miles from the sandy beaches, near tree-lined hiking trails in the nation's newest national park, casino, wineries, boat rentals, cafes, Michigan City Zoo, splash pad and park, outlet malls, & antique shops. This is the perfect little getaway for up to 6 people who want to relax or adventure! To avoid any confusion, potential guests should thoroughly read ALL information below before requesting to book. (We promise that the info below will better prepare you for your trip and answer 99% of your questions!) Thank you! This home sleeps up to 7 people in the following areas: Main floor queen bedroom (2 people), main floor bedroom with two twin beds (2 people), main floor living room futon (1 person), and upstairs queen bedroom (2 people). The bathroom is on the main floor of the home. ADDITIONAL INFO: We welcome guests of all backgrounds! However, due to prior disrespectful renters and property damage, we will only be accepting booking requests from: --Users who already have positive reviews. --Users who have provided verified government ID. --Renters that are above the age of 25. --Renters who are not bringing pets. We value our relationship with our neighbors, so events/gatherings/parties are not to be held by guests. In order to keep the home in excellent condition for future guests, we are firm on these rules. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. ***Smoking is NOT allowed inside or around the property. If there is any evidence smoking occurred inside or within 50 feet of the property (smoke smell, ashes, paraphernalia, etc) there will be an additional $300 cleaning charge and/or loss of security deposit if one was collected. ***Note that if you are bringing infants/babies, the house is NOT baby-proofed. (Furniture is not secured to walls, outlet blockers are not included, cabinets/drawers are not locked, etc.) We also do not have a pack-and-play/portable crib, so guests will need to bring their own.*** Other things to note CHECK-IN INFO: --Guests who book will receive detailed check-in instructions and a key code for entry on the morning of their scheduled arrival. All of this will be communicated through VRBO messenger. --Please note that Michigan City is on Central Standard Time (CST). Check-in is between 4 and 7 p.m.; guests must check out by 10 a.m. so that we can clean/prepare for our next renters before they arrive. --Our cancellation policy is moderate.

The location was excellent for visiting the beach, shopping at the Outlet Mall, and all the other fun activities we did. The home was very clean, well stocked, comfortable and lovely! Would definitely go back and stay here❤️

The house was a good fit for a short stay in the area. The location was quiet and close to area attractions. It was nice to have access to a washer/dryer and a fenced in yard with lawn chairs. The hosts were friendly with their communication and welcoming.

We loved this property! The owners left us a bottle of wine with a sweet note. The home was extremely clean and so cute! My kids were so happy that we chose staying in a house with a lot of room versus a hotel. The neighborhood was very quiet and there was a lot to do/see in the surrounding area. We loved visiting the Washington park zoo, Chicago, Indiana Dunes state park, and the outlet shops. We can’t wait to come back!

Super clean house and well appointed which made it a lovely stay! At times there was a cat urine smell (most likely from past owners) which was strong, but not unbearable. We have cats at home so we get it, and didn’t mind it too much. 😂 It was a lovely stay and we’d love to come back. Thanks for the wonderful experience!
