The bnb owners okayed my reservation then a month before my vacation trip, canceled without any notice. Just pulled it and nothing. By then the music festival i had thought was all taken care of, i was left in the clutch trying to find a reasonable rate. Which i had to go 3x times what i had planned on paying. I reserved this place many months before, only to be dropped and left in a horrible position!!

This was the most absolute worse experience I have ever had for a vacation rental. I felt in danger. There were 15-20 gun shots that rang out within the first 6hours I was there directly behind the property . They were close by. I expressed my concerns to the owner and she ignored them, even when I was banging on the back of the house door after I couldn’t get out of my unit due to a faulty top bolt lock. It doesn’t work. I literally was yelling that they were shooting and they continued to have a regular conversation as if they couldn’t hear me through the paper thin walls. I ordered a Lyft immediately to leave , because the police never show up quickly in the hood. The owner said they were just fireworks and refused to refund me for my 17NIGHT STAY. She accused me of doing voodoo and it backfiring. It is dirty and dingy in there. There are ants and roaches because there is a large crack in the door at the bottom. The backyard is junky. The bed has a large sinking spot on the right side and has hard springs. There were rough towels and a couple of stained ones. I ordered two mattress pads the minute I realized this , but shortly after the gunshots rang out. I know what gunshots sound like, I have been around them a long time ago, but for her refuse to refund me and show lack of consideration, this is the worst experience I have ever had. I told vrbo that they shouldn’t be allowed to rent again .

We were able to book on short notice. The host worked with us ensuring we had a place to stay. The room was clean and tidy. She even let me know that it was raining and my sunroof was open. There is a private entrance with a yard full of growing fruit and vegetables. I would recommend staying here and would stay here again if necessary!

Carefully review location and neighborhood before booking, I felt the property was overpriced for the area. Attempted to stay at property anyways, until the property owner had a screaming fight with her daughter. Left without a refund, gave the reservation an overall two stars, adding an extra star for indoor cleanliness, but backyard was also unkept.

The host was very kind and understanding for my husband and I. There isn't parking for 2, but we made it work. This stay was incredibly helpful as my husband and I had moved across country for my work and needed somewhere to stay while we moved into a more permanent home.

The room was nice and cozy, had everything I needed. The owner was very courteous and responsive. There were a couple things; the listing said the house was in Miami Gardens, however it was one neighborhood next door in Carol City. Also, a matter of personal preference, the bed was hard. There were blackout curtains which made it easier for sleeping, and a microwave and fridge and hot plate to store food. No sink to wash dishes in, so make sure everything you have Is frozen or takeout!
