About this condo rental
Located in Texas City, this charming condo for $206 per night is a great option for your next break. We hope you will consider visiting our home away from home! If you are looking for a quiet beach retreat (or to work or study while on a flexcation with private WIFI), then look no further! Located ON the beach at the quiet East end of Galveston! No busy streets to cross here! You’ll be able to hear the waves and watch the ships coming in and out of port. The Islander East Condo also has a year round heated pool and 2 tennis courts for you to enjoy. The condo comfortably sleeps 4. There is a queen bed and double sofa pull out. Full bathroom with shower/tub has been nicely remodeled. The galley kitchen includes a full size refrigerator. All linens, towels, beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, basic toiletries, some coffee, and beach wagon/chairs/umbrella/toys will be provided to enjoy your stay. Cleanliness is of utmost importance to us. All high touch surfaces, linens, and towels will be sanitized by our cleaning staff prior to your arrival. The location of this condo is within a five minute drive to downtown or the seawall. We will provide you with our Island top picks for things to see and do, although you will certainly not be disappointed with the views and quick walk onto the beach for a low key get away! Lastly, there is onsite parking in the gated parking lot for up to 2 cars. When you check in, the 24 hour front lobby staff will greet you and provide you with a parking pass and gate code.

This was a great place to stay for me, my husband, and 6 year old son for our mini vaca. I loved being able to walk straight to the beach from our condo and not having to pass over busy streets - especially w/ a child. The place felt very safe. It has a very pleasant ambiance. The front desk guy was so friendly and helpful. The condo had all the amenities we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was wonderful from beginning to end. Being on the east end made our stay very relaxing and peaceful. It was quiet and easy-going, but it was still close enough to all the great restaurants and shops.
The condo was well-equipped with everything we needed. John at the front desk was helpful and friendly with restaurant recommendations.
This was a much needed vacation to recharge, and it met all our expectations.

The condo was exactly as described. It was clean, had plenty of bedding, towels and kitchenware. The view of the beach was great. At night, it was relaxing to just sit on the balcony and listen to the waves roll in. The condo staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely rent this unit again.

The location is amazing - beach and wildlife, beautiful flowers, birdsong and an incredible view. The condo was serene with everything you would need - a super comfortable bed and balcony furniture, beach stuff in a wagon, and the 24-hour front desk staff was welcoming and super helpful. I felt very safe and taken care of. Last but certainly not least - the owners were so accessible, responsive and considerate - thank you Kristen and Brad for a simply wonderful beach retreat!

Great view, which we wanted!! The microwave definitely needs cleaning. There were 2 forks and one was plastic so, think about getting something else. Other then that it was a great time!

Overall the condo was very nice and plenty of room for me and my husband. Great views and could get to the beach very easily. Having the wagon with chairs and other items was nice but it was full of sand and we had to clean it out so we didn’t get sand everywhere in the condo. It was pretty warm in there when we arrived as well. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our time there.

My daughter and I stayed here for her 13th birthday weekend. It was a wonderful property! The room was clean, the bed(s) were comfortable, the location is perfect, the beach was enjoyable, and the overall experience earned a solid 5 star rating! We will certainly seek out availability of this unit for our next Galveston stay.

The view is amazing - you can see and hear the ocean from the flat within obstruction from seawall. Good amenities, and John at the front desk was delightful. Clean - but might need a few very minor details looked after (nothing that would prevent staying again!!!). Also great communication from the owner.

From the quiet almost secluded location to the comfortable furnishings and little extra comforts this condo provided, we highly enjoyed our time and would recommend renting this condo. The owners were most gracious and attentive throughout the whole process.

The biggest draw, for us, was that it was away from the hustle and bustle of the seawall, no noise, and a private beach access. It was perfect. So quiet, we listened to and read next to the pounding surf. The condo complex was pristine, inviting, and had many amenities. Sparkling pool, several fun outdoor games, grills, eating areas.
Our particular condo was more of the same.... clean, quiet, relaxing and conducive to the much needed down time we were needing. The view to the ocean was unobstructed, and we enjoyed watching the huge ships through the provided binoculars. The master bedroom view to the bayside was pretty cool too, for ship watching.
The rooms were nice, comfy beds, all with their own ac units. They don't have closets, but there was one rolling hanger rack that was useful.
The owners provided everything you'd need foe hitting the beach, from towels to a huge cabana, to chairs, and toys for kiddos.
The private walk to the beach is easy to make with the huge wagon for all the stuff.
We made our own meals several evenings, with all we needed in the kitchen, utensils and dishes.
We'll use this again, I'm certain.

We really enjoyed our stay. I wish it could have been longer. The location is great. We appreciate the small kitchen and wet satisfied with the meals we made. The ONLY minor snag was the fact that there is no air vent over the stove. Sooooo Yeah, we set off the alarm. Oops! But at least we know that if that happens, the front desk comes knocking to see if everything is ok.
We are looking forward to the next time!

Cozy
It was cozy. Beautiful unit. Just need add few things. Stepstool for microwave that is above refrigerator( I am 5 ft person). Maybe add portable ironing board and iron( we had a date at a nice restaurant and wanted to iron our nice clothes) Maybe few cute hangers to hang on hooks as there is no closet. It is a studio. I understands. We enjoyed our stay and will stay there again.
