We enjoyed our stay. nice house with two living rooms, good size kitchen, and island. One thing I didn’t enjoy : skillets and pans for cooking. They are too old with damaged surface ( inner layers which is Teflon, are very damaged). Other than that, it was good! Location was convenient for us.

Had problems with the TV that we didn’t understand. Host was quick to fix that. Again wonderful Host. Would stay here again. My dogs loved the back yard too.

Upon arrival I was like this place ! Nice roomy house , nice neighborhood! I was not impressed with the Tv , remote did not work well! Had to adjust volume on Tv! Had trouble getting the remote to work! Tried baking in the oven, it does not work properly! The beds were uncomfortable! But a quiet neighborhood! Otherwise not bad ! The downstairs bathroom had hardly any toilet paper with no replacement roll! It was out 2nd night ! We could not get the outside lights to work on the front of the house! Although, they had the solar lights out front , did not provide enough enough light ! The house was homey and clean !

Myself and two college friends got together for a weekend. The house was perfect. Comfy beds for all three of us and we had a great time snuggling in to the downstairs family room and talking. Great find!

This was a perfect 3 bedroom house for our short stay in Cedar Rapids. Owner made it easy to check in and out. House met our needs and was a much easier stay than in a traditional hotel. We would book again if we are in the area.

This property is a steal! Cute home in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room to hangout with the family. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard. Everything we needed for our stay was provided plus nice little extras like extra fans in each bedroom, extra blankets and q tips were nice touches. The only negative was the beds weren't super comfortable but neither are most hotel beds. There were however plenty of pillows which was nice. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Booking was also easy and seamless.

I stayed at Jim & Monica's house with my dog and partner. It was a great size for our Cedar Rapids getaway. Split level home with three bedrooms upstairs and a nice size TV with sectional downstairs. They also have a grill on the patio in the fenced in back yard. A previous review mentioned upstairs could be musty so we brought a small air filter which helped for my partner. The communication and amenities were great. The neighborhood was nice and easy for a quick dog walk. We were 10-15 minutes from popular parts of the city which was fine since we had our vehicle. We did Uber once which was affordable $8 & $15 to and from for the night.

We found this house after our initial reservation in Iowa City was cancelled because of scheduled renovations. We were coming for our daughter's graduation from the University of Iowa and we were worried we wouldn't be able to find a place to stay so we widened our search. I have to say, I'm not upset the first place didn't work out, this house was easy to find, clean and just what we needed without ALL the traffic in Iowa City on graduation weekend. Monica was great to work with and even let us get into the house a little early to freshen up before graduation activities after the long drive. We didn't have a long stay, but wouldn't hesitate to stay again. And the next time we'd bring our dog, the back yard looked like a great place to let him run!

I LOVE this house! The level of comfort is exceptional, plenty of room and amenities to make you feel right at home. I come to CR often from out of state and now that I have found this house, I will check to see if it is available every time! The host is fantastic and responds quickly. Do not hesitate to book this home. Unless I’m coming to town and then I want it!:)

The house was beautiful and clean, communicating with the property owners as needed was easy and they are very friendly. The yard was great, it was so nice having the doggy bag dispenser for picking up after our small dogs. We would definitley stay again!

Everything was as described. Quiet neighborhood. A couple points to note, water pressure on the upstairs bathroom sink is very low, does not affect the shower and the full/double bed is pretty small, may work for young kids, but 2 adults in an extended stay would not be comfortable. I would recommend this place for a stay, just be aware of those 2 items.

A wonderful location to spend Easter weekend with our daugher while having our Fur babies join the celebration. Yard was huge! Property was large and full of amenities. The checkin/out process was easy. Great family- friendly neighborhood with easy access to grocery store. Host was responsive and kind. Thanks!

It's a very nice property the hosts are really easy to communicate with and answer questions quickly. Monica is an extremely gracious host and the house is very spacious as well as the backyard. Oh my goodness - I LOVED this place. I just recently moved to the area and needed a place to stay until my house closed. Monica and her husband were so kind, communicative, and accommodating for me!! The house was so efficient and very convenient for me especially with my puppy. It was so easy to let him out in the fenced in back yard and the house was great. So close to different restaurants and my work. I was able to successfully work from home as well - internet, tv, water, showers, laundry - everything was fantastic and worked great. I needed to extend my stay and Monica was so flexible in working with me. She was also super available and responsive if I ever had a question! I would highly recommend staying here if you need a nice getaway in Cedar Rapids. I would come back in a heartbeat! :)

The house is just as described in the listing: a nice family home in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts were great, very responsive and accommodating. We stayed for 2 months with our cats while our home was remodeled, and when our remodel took longer, they worked with us to add an extra week. The house has everything one needs for a long stay. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pans and utensils. There's a den/family room with a nice smart TV (55 inches or so) with local broadcast channels and apps for your streaming services. There's also a desk that works well for a laptop or desktop PC. The 3 bedrooms have comfy beds.

This house was very nice, private backyard, well-stocked kitchen. There was plenty of room to relax between Rough Riders games. We cooked and played games. This was the best stay and most comfortable home we've rented so far. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

House was clean and provided all the basic needs. Especially enjoyed the 2 living area spaces for all to spread out. Kitchen had everything needed as we cooked breakfast and supper there. The assorted dvds & games was a bonus. We enjoyed both. Only 19 miles to Amana Colonies.
