Sehr schöne, ungestörte Lage. Riesiger, wunderschöner Garten mit großen Bäumen. Auch für Kinder sehr gut geeignet (solange sie sich daran halten, nicht am Geländer am Bachbett zu turnen). Zimmer wie beschrieben. Für 10 Personen hat das Haus eine sehr gute Größe. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter während des Aufenthalts war sehr gut (WhatsApp, Telefon), freundlich, unkompliziert. Wir waren eine Familiengruppe um die 30 Jahre mit Teenagern und Kleinkindern. Alle haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist nicht luxeriös, aber gemütlich und authentisch. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
Kurz vor unsrer Ankunft hatte es leider ein Gewitter mit Folgen für die Hauselektrik gegeben. Diese war danach leider nicht mehr zuverlässig, mehrfach musste ein Handwerker kommen. Der Vermieter hat sich aber sehr gut darum gekümmert und einen fairen Preisnachlass gewährt.
Auch an anderen Stellen gab es Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten (z.B. lockere Türgriffe...), von denen die wichtigsten ebenfalls gleich während unsrer Anwesenheit behoben wurden. Nach einer geplanten Rennovierung im Herbst 2026 ist das Haus bestimmt wieder ein richtiges Schmuckstück.

We really enjoyed our stay in this charming old mill. The house is spacious, well organized, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The garden was our favorite part. It's beautiful, quiet, and very private after long days at the beach, it was the perfect place to relax. We also loved having BBQ dinners outside.
If you're looking for a peaceful place with lots of character, this is a great choice.

La composizione delle camere non corrispondeva a quanto indicato su Booking e le dotazioni erano un poco carenti inoltre le stanze nella dependance erano molto umide

The location is fabulous and was absolutely as described. Pure charm.
We loved absolutely everything and the history was communicative throughout the whole process and gave us lots of suggestions for what to do around the island. We were there for an event so had little time but Guy’s suggestions were marvelous.
