Situated in Old Saybrook, this charming house for $425 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This adorable ranch has everything you could possibly want while on vacation! The newly renovated, 2-bedroom, 2 bath house is just a 5 minute walk to the private Fenwood Beach. The spacious living area welcomes you with an open floor plan that unites a comfy seating area with a double reclining sofa for TV viewing (with USB ports), a dry bar complete with mini-fridge, "stadium seating" for snacking while enjoying the game, as well as, a dining room table that seats eight comfortably. The fully equipped kitchen features all of the expected appliances, plus a Keurig Coffee/Latte/Cappuccino machine and a Cuisinart mini-oven that broils, bakes, toasts, convection bakes, and air-fries. There are granite countertops and plentiful cabinet storage including a pantry. The kitchen is supplied with dishware, cookware, and even some hostess pieces. Everything is ready for your use. The house also has Wi-Fi for those of you who want to stay connected. Down the hall you will find the guest bath with newly tiled walk-in shower and next to it, the Coral guest bedroom with a queen bed, TV, DVD player, and ample storage for your clothing. Across the hall is the main bedroom with a queen bed, two closets, TV, DVD player, and a beautiful en-suite bathroom with double sinks and a large walk-in shower with a glass barn door. This luxurious shower features a shower head that can raised or lowered, a rain shower head, and three back jets! This shower is a vacation in itself! Outside, you can relax on the covered patio (with party lights at night) or dine al fresco. There is plenty of room for games in the yard, too. The family grill master will be in his glory as he cooks dinner on the gas grill. BREAKING NEWS! The new recreation room is completed! This room includes a sofa/bed, large screen TV, several games and children's books, a foosball/air hockey table, and a slot machine for entertainment! More space for more fun! While here, don’t forget to explore the Old Saybrook area! There are multiple places to eat, a quaint downtown area, a train station, shopping, ice cream, and mini-golf. Speaking of golf, bring your clubs as the Fenwick Golf Course is open to the public year-round (weather permitting) and is just down the street from the house. As your hosts, your safety is of the utmost importance to us. Prior to your arrival, a professional housekeeper cleans the home using the recommended cleaning supplies and practices. Fun in Old Saybrook

Fun in Old Saybrook

This was a much needed respite for my family. Betty was wonderful throughout the entire process and answered all of our questions. She left thoughtful surprises for my family as well. The property was well maintained, everything was clean and perfectly described. The master shower has features I never knew that I missed in a shower. Betty left games, toys and books for the kids. The recreation room has indoor fun and the outdoor space is perfect for relaxing and eating. The beach is beautiful and right down the street. Old Saybrook has a cute downtown and many eating and entertainment options. This was a lovely vacation and we can't thank Betty and Ron enough.

Old Saybrook was a charming community. This vacation rental was well situated within walking distance of a private beach. The home was very clean and well stocked with kitchen items Please remember that linens are not supplied for your vacation. You also will not have access to a washer or dryer.

This is not the first time we’ve rented in Saybrook, but the first time we’ve stayed at this particular location. The house is in a perfect location and in a quiet neighborhood. The beach within walking distance was not compared me to the town beach, but it is cute to walk to at night and enjoy the view. The house, itself, is exactly as it was described. It is very clean and it has all the essentials, although a washer and dryer, in my opinion, would have been helpful with beach towels and all. Betty (and Ron) we were gracious hosts and communicated with us as needed. We would definitely stay here again.

This quiet, cozy 2 bedroom was just as beautiful as depicted in the listing. Newly remodeled, this place had all the bells and whistles of a home away from home. Pretty decor, comfortable beds, family gathering spots and a well equipped kitchen all made for a perfect spot to celebrate my Dad’s 89th bday. Loved having coffee outside on the patio with only the birds for company! Only a 5 min walk to the beach! Communication between myself and the hosts was excellent and we so appreciated the thoughtful touches ( coffee and muffins for the next morning after a late arrival and a bottle of champagne to celebrate Dad.). All in all, this oasis in Old Say rook exceeded our expectations!
