We booked this place for family members who travelled from all over the world to be part of a wedding of our niece/sister/daughter. However, our stay turned into a nightmare. The house was smelly upon entering probably due to the fact that it was closed for a while and no circulating air, there were bugs, roaches and flies everywhere, one of the bed upstairs has a broken leg, the outside was nothing compare to what pictures showed. We ended up to Walmart purchasing cleaning supplies and clean as much as we could. We contacted owner. They promised stopping by the next day but no one showed up until 2 days later, just to fix the broken bed leg. Both bathroom got clogged on the third day just to make the matter worst. Here again, we contacted the owner who responded but said that there was no one available to come to our rescue until the next day. And of course no one ever showed up. We managed to get at least the first floor bathroom functioning for the remaining of our stay. Bed bugs were also present. Some members in the family had bumps all over their buddy. Though the place is very old, It could have been a good vacation house with some TLC.

The beautiful pond in the pictures? Totally drained and filthy. The shed was pouring out with filth and garbage. The inside of the home basically mirrored the outside. No towels, no cups or plates, no paper towels, no toilet paper. I had to make a Target run and spend close to $500 just to get basic necessities. There were old bottles and garbage in the closets. The shower curtains were coming off the hooks. The water pressure was a trickle. The furniture was all about near collapse and at a breaking point. First morning there and strangers were on the grounds working on something in a shed …yet not at all cleaning the litter on the grounds. My children felt unsafe and scared. I wouldn’t dream of recommending this VRBO to anybody and cannot believe that VRBO allows this home to still be an option for anybody. I didn’t even stay my full schedules reservation out of pure disgust. I am expecting a refund. DO NOT RENT THIS HORROR SCENE! And yes, I took picture as evidence.

We typed the address in on the gps and we were brought to a semi court. When we called the home owner he said you need to type in 51 cutlass. No where is this indicated in the intro to our stay. After arriving we also had to call again because we had no code for the key entrance. We looked around and noticed the house is on an old run down campsite. There is several buildings a round that were broken down and unsafe. The roof was falling down and there was trash and glass all over the property. Then we came in the house and 4 of the beds that were in the picture were on the porch. All the beds were surrounded by windows and the looked straight into the woods. There was also a door that didn't lock that went straight to the outside!!! We are women who were scared for our lives. This is not what was shown in the picture. The house was dirty with dirty dishes still in the dishwasher. And there was cans of tuna or random items in the living room. There was also 2 rolls of toliet paper in the entire house. We had to buy more ourselves. Overall this was a horrible and unsafe experience. They need to change their conditions if they expect anyone to visit this place.

The sunroom had 4 beds and my friends thought maybe we can sleep there for the second night as it was kinda creepy but the glass door had no lock at all and the net door had one lock that looked rusty and unsecured. Within one of the busiest states of NJ, we were able to find a perfect getaway spot in the woods, even right off the highway, feeling like it was just our group. Nice, cozy home where the heat and hot water runs wells. There are a lot of glass doors, windows, and furniture so it may not be the optimal place for little children who wish to be more wild in their behavior. We had a 3-day, 2-night stay, and on the 2nd night into the 3rd day, the WiFi started to have issues and I we had to use our own personal hotspot.
