We visited Gettysburg as a halfway point to connect with old friends we hadn’t seen in years. The house was the perfect meet up location! Plenty of room for our tween/teen kids to go off and read, play board games, watch TV, or use the arcade game on site. Plus, a well outfitted kitchen for us to cook breakfast and dinner, and for the adults to stay up talking and catching up while kids slept soundly. We were just there one night, but it was a great space - lots of sleeping options/extra bedding so we could set kids up comfortably, extremely clean and tidy, quiet and easy to get to/park at. We didn’t explore locally because we’d all been to Gettysburg before and were just here to hang out together, but the location would be a perfect hub to site-see from.

OK, our family travels a good bit, and we have stayed in many VRBO/Airb*nbs, and this is hands down the nicest property we have ever had the pleasure to rent. First off, it is a beautiful historic home that has been wonderfully renovated/expanded. It maintains great vintage character with all of the necessary modern luxuries. The upstairs bedrooms are HUGE. Both with individual living rooms & private baths. So much room, wonderfully appointed, and tastefully decorated for the holidays. Pawel (the owner) is beyond Superhost status, he's like a SUPERsuper host. It is in the perfect location in downtown Gettysburg, and you can walk to all the shops and restaurants in 5 minutes. And the place was clean, clean, clean. Spotless. Immaculate. Also very nice touches like a cart outside to assist you with your luggage down the little sidewalk from your private parking space. Many different coffee selections, and an impressive spice rack. Even extra dog food & bowls! Did I mention the arcade game? The backyard was beautiful, it was a little cold when we were there so we didn't take advantage of it, but we will upon our return. Our family kept walking around saying "Best VRBO ever!" I'm not kidding. Don't forget a penny to put on the stone wall! You'll see ;) I will never stay anywhere else in Gettysburg. This place was amazing.

We could not have been more pleased with this home. It was very spacious and beautiful decorated and very clean. The host pays close attention to the “comforts” of home. There was plenty of towels in the bathrooms, toilet paper, hand soap, ect. He literally thought of everything a guest might want or need including the Keurig and a variety of K-Cups. I loved seeing the “coins” on the wall and we added a few of our own! We will definitely stay at this home again when in Gettysburg. Communication was quick when we had questions and host was very friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your home.

It was great! The VRBO listing said there was a hottub but there is not a hot tub but being in town there were lots of other things to do within walking distance

This house was perfect in every way! Very clean and comfortable and great location for touring the area. We enjoyed the outdoor area and fire pit in the evening. If we are ever in the area again, will definitely book this gem of a place!

This is a beautiful and comfortable house. The house was VERY clean. I have allergies, which usually act up in a rental house due to dust and pet dander, but this wasn’t a problem here! It was, also, well stocked with linens, toiletries and kitchen utensils. We have stayed at several rentals and this house was the absolute best. I had a booking issue that our host patiently walked me through. Thank you, Pawel!

Our stay was incredible, the location of this property put us just a few blocks from the town square walking distance to shopping and great food. The house was great inside, plenty of space, modern amenities, and dog friendly. Definitely would stay here again

I cannot say enough good things about this property. Impeccably clean and stocked with plenty of linen it was the best we have had in rentals! The location cant be beat you can walk to any attraction you wish to visit but it is off the main street so it is a little quieter. Very cute home we are recommending it to everyone

This house is amazing! We all were very impressed with the little extras that the home owners provided, plenty of towels, soap, k-cups, tea and more. The house was extremely clean, the beds were very comfortable and the location was great, we walked to dinner each night and enjoyed the shops close to the house. We enjoyed the outside space as well. We would highly recommend this property.

The house was by far the cleanest place we’ve ever rented. That location was perfect for what we wanted to do in our short stay. More than enough room for our family, there were 10 of us. Loved the charm and historical aspect. Amenities were more than expected. Would love to stay here again!

This house was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed at! Seamless check-in and check-out process, property manager very responsive. Perfect location within walking distance to everything in the town square. The house was gorgeous inside and out, extremely CLEAN, and tons of amenities throughout (including toiletries in all bathrooms). Would 100% recommend this house and plan to stay here again in the future!

Our stay at the stone house was perfect! It was clean and well stocked. It is nicely laid out and comfortable. Very close to shops and restaurants and great for traveling with our dog. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was very clean and having four bathrooms was great. The outdoor area was a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or the fire in the evening.
The host was very responsive to any questions we had and the location was great for a visit to Gettysburg.

Perfect for a multi family of 8(kids range 12-17)getaway to Gettysburg and surrounding areas. So many comfortable places to relax and kids enjoyed their own separate hang out zones. The outdoor garden and fire pit is such a nice place to enjoy a cocktail before heading to the sites or enjoying a quiet morning cup of coffee. The house was very clean and comfortable. Very easy walk to restaurants, shops and ghost tours. Neighbours are very friendly.

Following a funeral, we needed calm. We needed a place where a couple of generations of family could find peace, regroup, laugh and enjoy being together. This beautiful home away from home was perfect. It was immaculate, spacious and laid out so that each room had sufficient privacy. The backyard is a beautiful little garden setting! Thank you. Great location just a block from the Square. The photos of this home don’t do it justice! It’s so spacious and charming with all the updates to make it comfortable. The outdoor space is lovely as well. I wish we had found this place before my daughter was graduating from the college- I’d never stay anywhere else! Pawel was so easy to communicate with as well. Highly recommend! Don’t hesitate to book this gem!

We booked this property for a Golden Retriever weekend event in Gettysburg. We stayed with our 2 Goldens and brought along a good friend since the property was so spacious. Extremely clean, very dog friendly, we even each had our own bedroom/bathroom. The neighborhood was great and was walking distance into town. I loved staying in such an old house but with all of the modern amenities! We’ll definitely be back again!!

The House was very interesting - it retained a historic portion from the 1800's but also had a modern update/expansion. It was well blended between these 2 era's. Plenty of room, very clean and comfortable. And within walking distance of the Gettysburg's great downtown area.

My husband and I stayed at this spacious property for 5 nights as we toured around Gettysburg. We were able to walk to restaurants and pubs, and many historic spots around the area. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We were traveling with our 2 cats and they loved to sit in the front windows and watch the world go by. We booked this with another couple in mind but they couldn’t make it to Gettysburg so it was more room than we needed and closed off some rooms we didn’t need but it was still more than enough space.
We loved the location and walked around town every night checking out the local vibes. Mr G’s ice cream was a favorite, try the coconut egg cream it’s the best I’ve ever had!
We visited the museum and took the auto tour, drove out to the round barn and visited the National cemetery. So much to see and do and this property was a perfect spot to call home. Thanks for sharing your property, it’s beautiful.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The location was ideal for us, walking distance to everything in the middle of town, plus only a block away from one of the more remote battlefield entrances! Great for taking long walks with the dog and kids, and hardly any traffic entering in that area. There's also a nearby playground for the kids, with basketball courts and field space. Really a perfect location for a family.
The house itself was clean and all of the updates that have been done make it such a warm, inviting home. It was much larger than we expected, too. Lots of space, especially upstairs, for our family to spread out and hang out together.
The owner, Pawel, is incredibly responsive and accommodating. Just a fantastic home, location, host, and stay. We would absolutely stay here again.
