The location of the cabin was close to everything. It was peaceful and beautiful, just what we were looking for. The view of the lake was really beautiful, something that wasn't mentioned in the cabins' description, definitely worth mentioning! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck, relaxing and watching the lake. Very beautiful and peaceful.

Overall good experience, great location from lake and view! With that being said, could use some improvements. Lots of spiders/webs and ants 🐜. The ants were all over the kitchen counters and in one of the bedrooms. Someone dropped bug spray/traps at the front door for me to deal with on our last night there. "Electric" BBQ was disgusting and outside plug had a piece of metal stuck in it. First set of stairs from parking were shallow/short and felt sketchy. Also one of the outside lights above stairs had bad connection that was going in and out. The window blinds in one of the bedrooms came apart when my sister tried to open/close it. Wifi was not working and was told I unplugged it. Downstairs bathroom toilet was rocking and T/P holder came apart. Not an ideal location for the summer heat due to no a/c. Was told they would take $25 dollars off my stay for the trouble?

The view was amazing. The 29 stairs, fairly steep, were a challenge.

Pro's- Cozy Cabin, great view, nice neighborhood, good location. The following needs to be addressed: 1- The fact that the only way to get to the cabin is down two floors of steep steps should be posted on the cabin profile on VRBO. We had to carry heavy luggage down these snow filled icy steps. Then back up again when leaving. It was hard and dangerous. We are a strong healthy family. There is no way older guests or guests with disabilities would be able to navigate these steps with their belongings. 2- Fireplace, no firewood supplied. All previous cabins we have rented from VRBO have had a supply of firewood. Also the chimney needs cleaning. We own a house with 3 fireplaces and in order for the smoke not to enter the room the chimney needs to be cleaned periodically. After an hour, smoke came into the cabin every day. 3- The upstairs bathroom door lock needs fixing. all of us got locked in the bathroom due to the lock getting stuck. 4- The upstairs bedroom on the left when entering the cabin was unbearably hot, even when the heat was turn down as far as it would go. We were unable to adjust the floor vent to stop the hot airflow coming into that room. the guest has to sleep with the windows open. 5- All cabins we have stayed in have had a supply of coffee, even just enough for the first morning. No coffee here. 6- The furniture in the living area seats 3 people only at a squeeze. this is not enough for a cabin that offers accommodation for 5-6 people. We moved a heavy armchair from the downstairs bedroom to the living area. 7- The breakfast table has one chair only. We found two stools in the downstairs bedroom that we took up and used at the breakfast table. 8- Games are advertised on the cabin profile. Potential guests who read this will expect more than two identical scrabble boardgames, one with missing pieces, and then one other board game that has various games you can play on the same board. 9- The outside trash was completely full from the last guests and we had to leave our trash on the street. Our stay would have been much more pleasant without the above issues.
