Warm, hospitable welcome from lovely owners, beautiful historic building, perfect location, spacious accommodation, nice facilities, option for a meal at reasonable prices as there are no dining options in the village. The owners even offer wines at fair prices, for purchase. Be aware that you need to bring your own condiments such as oil, spices etc if you wish to cook in the well equipped kitchen facilities.
Would have been appropriate to supply tea/ coffee rather than charge for this. Only a minor issue of course!
