The cabin itself has everything we needed. Clean, comfortable and overall pretty good. Instructions were clear and there are signs for everything around what to do (and not to do) which I really appreciated. The cabin looked quite cozy even from the outside too (inside was definitely fantastic).
I’m sure there are countless others pointing that the access can be narrow. I honestly think if you’re driving around Kyushu and reach here, the roads are fine and pretty ‘normal’ as I came across roads similar/narrower elsewhere. I guess that’s how Japan roads are and the roads around this cabin shouldn’t be something that should negatively impact this place. However, I do think Google maps betrayed me and took me on a super dodgy path - and no I don’t mean narrow roads, trust me, I was fine with super narrow roads - but I was led on a freaking farm road despite having several much better actual roads leading up to the cabin. Somehow, I ended up on a path that was barely able to take cars - with grass overgrown in the middle which made concerning noise when I drove on it. So, be cautious. The roads are fine for this cabin, as long as you don’t end up taking a non-road.
