If peace and views are what you're after in a hostel, you won't find a better location in the Pelling area. Is it a bit of a trek to get to? Yes. Is that trek worth it? Absolutely yes!! Take a taxi from town if you need to, but do stay here. Beds are super-comfortable, rooms are spotlessly clean, the hot water really is hot. But the cherry on the cake of this lovely spot is without doubt the staff - they were kind, considerate & friendly and incredibly helpful from before I arrived to the moment I left, and made sure all guests felt welcome and at home.
It wasn't the fault of the hostel but due to network issues there was no wifi during my stay (if you have a Jio sim it works well at the hostel, but Airtel is a bit patchy in all of Sikkim). Hopefully the technician will fix it soon!
I have balance/proprioception issues so found access to the hostel's location a little tricky, but that's not the hostel's fault, and I did find the effort completely worth it! I'm just mentioning it in case accessibility is a concern for anyone; taxis are available if you don't want to walk! When it was time to leave the staff were so wonderful in helping me get a shared taxi that came directly to the hostel so I didn't have to climb the hill with my backpack - in fact they even carried my bag to the taxi which was incredibly sweet and completely on-brand for how well I was treated for my entire stay! So none of this is actually negative at all!

Very tidy and modern excellent customer service and very professional and helpful. It is very high standard and everyone was very supportive during my stay. Definitely I will be back and I highly recommend especially for solo woman traveling as there is available female dormitory, I meet great people during my short stay. Thank you for everything.

Beautiful stay. Super friendly hosts, good guests and just about everything was lovely.
I found good company and headed off to a solid trek…made good contacts and lots of good memories from the place.
Lots of travellers return here and I regularly bump into old friends when I stay. Quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is reasonably priced and the food is tasty and clean. There are no bad vibes here like you can get elsewhere and I return here often as it is so safe and well located. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

People are good
The location is very odd and even taxi persons not able to find as per address
You have to walk min 2 km for Bazar
No proper transportation for Bazar
This is lower pelling but shows it upper
